Cons: My motherboard was finicky with the ram- had to re-install solidly a few times to get it to boot. But not sure if motherboard or ram is issue. Other Thoughts: Had the same issue when I added 8 more GB of this exact ram for a total of 16. Still- could be motherboard... or maybe I am just afraid to push that hard when installing. Unlike other 8GB kits I've tried, this one was able to POST on the first attempt. Currently running at 1.65V, 1700MHz linked and synced, 8-9-9-24 1T, subtimings on auto. Cons: After 3 months, massive BSOD, ram failures, etc. Other Thoughts: Switched back to a 2x2 GB Mushkin that worked, will have to rethink purchasing from Mushkin again... Pros: I bought those sticks as an upgrade for 790 Ultra board and even though they are not officially supported they work like a charm. Now upgrading to Z68 platform and keeping those sticks, still compatible at awesome timings and speeds! GREAT WORK MUSHKIN!
