5 out of 5 eggsMushkin Enhanced Blackline 4GB DDR3 SDRAM

Pros: Very solid RAM in all i have 2 Nukelar and 3 Blackline which are almost the same. Not one of them fried or caused problems.

Cons: Not really a con but if you are on a mini ATX motherboard you may have issues with the heat-sinks of either the GPU or CPU. Not the rams fault but the motherboard.

Other Thoughts: You may want to make sure your cpu/mobo can handle the full potential of its frequency. if some how you have the issue of overlapping which is not the RAM's fault you can always remove the heat-sink. I advise against removing it, as it may void the warranty. In my mini-atx everything fit however one of the sticks had to be inserted before the GPU.

4 out of 5 eggsGood, fast, cheap.

Pros: Good RAM, pretty fast, and cheap (price, not quality).
Also allows for aesthetics.

Cons: When putting the stick into my board, the black casing slipped and came unstuck from the stick. Easily fixed by inserting the stick and then placing the case back on.

Other Thoughts: Very good for the price. Will be buying more when I get the cash.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Ram

Pros: Great Ram works great with no errors (with an exception; see other thoughts)

Cons: none so far.

Other Thoughts: Got 16GB of this ram in my computer. I've read up on tech sites that said if you try to put this much ram (or fill all the slots with ram) with a Phenom II cpu, it will default to ddr3 1066. Mines stayed at 1333 1.6v (which is what I had a few previous sticks sitting at) and it worked fine. I tried putting it at 1600 1.6v and ran memtest and I got errors. Reverted back it was fine. Guess I could've tried upping my volts, but I'm not one to keep messing with things as I don't have cash to burn on replacing parts or getting a new computer. If it works, no more tweaking :)

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I've had nothing but good experiences with mushkin ram, used it in the last box I built and it was still good as new four years later when I decided to build a new system.. so far, this ram is working just like I expected it too, I've had it a week running 24/7 under heavy use no hiccups.. I would recommend mushkin to anyone.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: one side note too people worried about doa's/etc... it happens, fact of buying anything sooner or later the ups guy will drop the box or you will get a defect lol don't let it effect your opinion about a brand.

5 out of 5 eggsGREAT

Pros: I had to set the timings in BIOS and the frequency to 16 multiplier in BIOS as well. After that it was smooth sailing.

I can OC my i5 2500K to 4.6GHZ no sweat whatsoever. Had problems when I tried to Overvolt it LOL. But Im not complaining. (was trying out 1800+ mhz settings )

Cons: the heatspreader looks flimsy, but is pretty well built contrary to other reviews.

2 out of 5 eggspure trash

Pros: worked poorly when at all
2 eggs, one for decent shipping and price, one for lasting long enough to justify new ram but it "angered" me off the entire 6 months

Cons: completly failed after 5 1/2 months
memtest reported a growing number of errors every month
after 5 months it was almost 100 errors on 1 pass
never again mushkin

Other Thoughts: wasnt stable even at its rated clock, packaging said 99924, auto detect was 88824, ran poorly at both

3 out of 5 eggscheap price. cheaply made.

Pros: fast RAM and good performance for a solid price.

Cons: Heat spreaders are weakly designed. one of mine actually came off while pressing down into RAM socket.

Manufacturer Response:

Greetings,

Mushkin Enhanced recommends that users do NOT push down on the heatsinks to install this RAM, as it may cause them to shift. Please use the corners of the actual DIMM where they are exposed on the sides of the heatsink.

Thanks!

Great price, performance matched higher-cost RAM already in my system. Easy installation.
