4 out of 5 eggsGot what was not advertised.

Pros: The ram is great, runs just fine in my system. :)

Cons: As much as I like this ram I must say I feel a bit duped, I bought this ram hoping I would receive the kind advertised with the heatsinks on them, but when they got here they were completely different looking types of ram. They had no heat sink whatsoever, just normal naked stock ram. Now that feels like false advertisement, to receive a completely different looking product than what they are showing to the customers.

Other Thoughts: I would suggest you to pass this up if you're getting it for the heatsinks, if not then go ahead and buy because they are very nice sticks of ram indeed. They just might not look like what they are advertised.

5 out of 5 eggsNP Watsoever For 5 Months

Pros: It comes with a Lifetime warranty. Has worked flawlessly for over 5 months @8-11-9-27 1T. And I am using the XMP profile. And with the XMP profile it has worked flawlessly.

Cons: N-O-N-E-!

Other Thoughts: The only review I could find before buying this RAM was the "Mushkin Blackline PC3-16000 3x4GB Review" at OverClockersClub.com.
The conclusion begins, "The Mushkin Blackline 12GB kit definitely exceeded my expectations!"

So I bought it. And this RAM definitely, exceeds MY expectations!

Also, I bought this stuff so to be extra sure it would fit under my Noctua NH-D14 (HSF) on my GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD3R (LGA 1366 MOBO). And it does.

But just as important, was the question of whether or not to just OC 1600MHz RAM, that had tighter timings. I'm satisfied that I made the right choice. I LUV this RAM! And just for the record, I have a pair of EVGA GTX560-Ti(s) (2GB vRAM version) in SLI. And no problems with this RAM.

(Played many different FPS games without any problems watsoever for 100's hours with this RAM during the past five months. BF3/ Metro 2033/ Crysis/ Crysis 2/ Steam Source games/ Deus Ex: HR/ ES V:Sk

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible

Pros: They look cool. That's about it.

Cons: Nothing but problems from the instant I installed them. I tried every possible thing I could from running the X.M.P profile with the advertised timings, to manual setup with OC'ed i7 920 to 3.3ghz, and the memory at DRAM BUS at 2,009. Tried different voltages including 1.64 and 1.66 (ASUS P6T won't do 1.65, it's either one or the other with those two values.)

Tried downclocking it to 1900+, tried leaving all the timings on auto. Nothing seemed to eliminate the sluggish performance, lack of mobo POSTing sometimes, system lock-ups, or crazy anomalies when loading up games like Shogun 2, or Skyrim. Right off the bat I'm assuming one of the sticks was bad, but whether I took that stick out, or put it in, I got the same results once I got to my desktop.

Never buying Mushkin again. Went out on a limb with a company I've never tried, and it proved to be a big mistake. I'm going back to being a strictly G.skill user.

Other Thoughts: Maybe the RAM I got was bad, but I've never had this many problems with another brand right out the box. I've gone through various Kingston, Corsair, and G.skill kits and this is the first time so many problems arose from a single install. It's a possibility that perhaps because my Mobo is one of the first generation i7 motherboards, that it's just not liking this RAM. Perhaps if you use a newer generation motherboard, you won't have these problems, but I'm not spending another $300 just to get RAM 100-200mhz faster.

I'm now having trouble getting my last DIMM slot to read my old G.skill 2GB DDR3 1600 stick. Used to have all three running perfectly fine OC'ed to 1750mhz, tested and true through a variety of games at max settings and beyond for almost a year, and as soon as this Mushkin garbage goes bad, now this happens. Lol. I'm praying the slot wasn't damaged on my mobo, otherwise my hatred for Mushkin will rise to astronomical proportions.

5 out of 5 eggsOverkill!

Pros: Works Great. Good buy.

Cons: Overkill for any basic application or even high end gaming. i would recomend a 8gig solution. But for the price might aswell be ready for the when apps require this much ram.

5 out of 5 eggs:)

Pros: its a bang for the buck, it's been working good so far and I've noticed that i only end up using about 40% of the memory at while gaming, never used all of it yet.

Cons: none so far

Other Thoughts: i would prefer it to a friend.
