INNOVATION AT ITS CORE.

What if? Two simple words. But when combined, the possibilities are endless. At Mushkin, we've stopped simply asking, "What if the impossible was possible," and started manufacturing it. This thought is at the core of every Mushkin Innovation. Try our innovations yourself and explore what's possible with Mushkin products.

DESIGNED AND ASSEMBLED IN THE U.S.A.

Not many manufacturers can say they design, assemble and test their products in the U.S.A. But Mushkin has been making its products in the U.S.A. since its inception in 1994. That means, for more than 19 years, we have been uniting all aspects of performance to engineer something you can't get from a spec sheet.

5 out of 5 eggsStable as a mountain

Pros: XMP Profile info is all you need.
8gb is the perfect amount of RAM for most games.

Cons: Can't find any.

Other Thoughts: This RAM is incredibly stable on OC, no crashes since I installed it over a year ago.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Memory

Pros: Extremely high quality and reliable memory. I have been a big fan of Mushkin memory for a long time for many of my builds. Their DDR2 Blackline kit I used in my X48 based C2Q Q9550 build was a 1066Mhz Kit I was able to run at the same timings at 1081Mhz with a 1Ghz overclock on the Q9550. That system and ram also continue to work flawlessly at that speed to this day.
This kit works great at 2133mhz with some fine tuning running a 3930K at up to (with turbo) 4.6Ghz. Since the way memory speed is handled by the newer i7 systems VS. the old days of DDR2 with a Northbridge involved. Getting it to be stable at such a high speed without sacrificing performance elsewhere can be a bit tricky. Take your time, adjust the voltages to the rated settings, and test everything before you point blame at any one part.

Cons: There are non.

Other Thoughts: Price is good, Performance is Rock Solid, and the Red Coolers go great with the Blue Motherboard and White Case. My computer is unintentionally very Patriotic.

5 out of 5 eggsgood RAM

Pros: This is a nice looking set of ram sticks. I've been running mine for 2 years straight at 1720MHz 9-9-9-28. I have run them as high as 1888MHz as well with no issues.

Cons: My most stable overclock ended up with a more CPU multiplier and a much lower FSB speed than anticipated...

5 out of 5 eggs$50 cheaper now

Pros: Like before, I'm still happy with this ram. Got an 8350 since then. Running these excellent sticks at 1071 Mhz (2142) 9-11-10-28-28-1T still with 1.65v. I run the FX slower in the summer @4.4Ghz.

Cons: - NA -

Other Thoughts: On my newer CH V-Z I had to raise the cpu-nb voltage slightly.

1 out of 5 eggsSilly

Pros: Looks cool, price

Cons: Heat sinks come right off, one stick went out on me somehow, luckily within 30 days

Other Thoughts: Got it for the CAS latency, speed and price, lesson learned though, don't buy cheap stuff

3 out of 5 eggsStill Hopeful

Pros: Solid construction, hefty heat sinks, mushkin brand

Cons: Tried everything to get these sticks to run at rated speed but they bluescreen my machine at anything above 1333. I happen to be a huge Mushkin fan but this has not been a good experience. Paired these up with a Gigabye 990fx UD7 board, and an AMD vishera 8320. Updated to latest bios and went step by step to no avail. Not sure what to do now!

Other Thoughts: After visiting the Gigabyte forum and scouring the internet for a solution I am no futher than when I started Maybe I got a bad pair. I know that can happen. Im not bitter but still discouraged. First time in 7 years of using Mushkin memory I have had an issue.

2 out of 5 eggsVoltage fail

Pros: Good price and good RAM when/if it works.

Cons: The system fails due to voltage errors in memory once or twice a month when put at full 2133 load.

5 out of 5 eggsQuality RAM!

Pros: Excellent RAM! Worked right out of the box. Defaulted to 1333 on my MSI Z77A-G43 mobo, but after enabling XMP it went straight to 2133, no hassling required! Overclocking the CPU to 4.2GHz (from 3.5 default) and the machine is rock solid. Just built a new rig with an Intel I7-3770K Ivy Bridge with a Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo on it, no problems fitting the RAM under the cooler at all. Overall an excellent experience. Thanks Mushkin!

Cons: None to report!

Other Thoughts: Don't forget to set your motherboard to use XMP profiles for the RAM.
