5 out of 5 eggsAWESOME RAM !

Pros: - Amazing RAM
- sped up my computer by a lot .
- comes with a heatsink

Cons: - none so far

Other Thoughts: Pretty decent RAM sticks for a generally low price , they will boost performance of any computer significantly and the heatsink is keeping the temps down to minimum . Overall great buy for a system that needs some boosting :)

2 out of 5 eggsDead

Pros: Looks nice, was nice while the set worked.

Cons: Died after a month and a half of use.

Other Thoughts: I hope mushkin takes care of these, I have never bought mushkin until now and this is not a great start. If they replace them without any hassles or delays I will edit and change my review.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: I have always had good results with Mushkin RAM and this time was no exception. It is rock solid stable.

Cons: DDR2 RAM is so much more expensive now that DDR3 is popular!

5 out of 5 eggsMushkin Memory

Pros: I have used Mushkin memory for many years I am small system builder reseller for a few friends who want the convienence of a custom built system but do not posess the skills to build themselves.

Cons: None I know of very reliable

Other Thoughts: I am not saying that Mushkin is the best and there is other good mem makers out there but it has been the old reliable for me.

5 out of 5 eggsNice memory modules

Pros: Very nice looking memory modules. Would look great inside one of those computers with the clear acrylic side panels. Installation was straight forward and easy and went without any problems whatsoever. Having spent many years repairing electronic equipment of various types and in various industries, I have seen many poorly finished circuit board assemblies, but these modules have very nicely trimmed and finished edges. I have seen this to be a sign of good quality. And as always, NEWEGG delivered them super fast!

Cons: More expensive than some brands but looks like it might be worth it. The modules could have been packaged in something that provided a little more physical and electrical protection than a simple blister-pak.

Other Thoughts: These modules were used to max out the memory in an older Hewlett Packard desktop computer, the 1GB modules were removed and these 2GB were simply installed in their place. It may be my imagination (as I did not actually time it with a stopwatch), but the computer seems to be booting to Windows 7 faster now with the 8GB RAM than it did with just 6GB and I would have expected it to be slightly slower.

Pros: I was upgrading my old old old computer since I'm too cheap to buy a new one. Price was good and I haven't had any problem. Still fingers crossed.

5 out of 5 eggsMushkin-4-Life

Pros: Paired these up with a E8400 CPU and I've got a nice little Untangle box that'll run 64-bit version. Dropped them in and turned em on and away we went.

Cons: None so far

Other Thoughts: I have always bought Mushkin - back from the Black L2V2 (Winbond) days.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Upgrade

Pros: Great upgrade from the stock 400MHz RAM. The heatsink is solid, well attached and just plain looks nice. I also got a great price with Newegg's sweet promo codes and free shipping at the time. Thanks Newegg!

Cons: I had to RMA the first set due to a bad stick. However, I have bought lots of memory over the years and this is the first bad stick I have had. Great odds in my book. Although I received free shipping, the packaging was lacking for RAM. Bubble envelope. They did perfect on the RMA packaging though. Perfect.

Other Thoughts: I appreciate the RMA service. It would be nice to have a replacement sent upon RMA number issuance so there is a faster turnaround time though. If the customer fails to return the RMA item, then they get charged for the replacement item.
