5 out of 5 eggsmmmMMmmMMmmm Radiaton-y

Pros: ddr3 1600 speed ram, with a heat sink, that's also been quality tested by the guys @ mushkin.
The heat sink is actually the reason I bought *this* ram, because I had a window on my case at the time and the radio-active ram was smile-inducing.
The heat sinks are well mounted and *might* help extend the life of your ram, MAYBE.

Cons: price for what you get. Sure the heat sink's cool (literally, and in terms of "ooh that's a nice bit of shHhiiIIiiiiIIiiiny right there.), but the ram isn't leaps and bounds above anything, in fact it's basically standard for the timings and speed rating it's rated for.

Other Thoughts: I got these a WHILE ago, and never reviewed b/c they've *never* given me a problem other than when I first booted they had auto set to 1333 speed then once I re-booted with a fresh windows i went back into the bios and BOOM! 1600 speed :P

5 out of 5 eggsFinally!!!

Pros: It Works!!!!

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I went through 2 motherboards, trying to get 32 Gig of another manufacturer's memory to work...with no luck. This just dropped right in, and solved all of my issues.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat RAM! You can't go wrong.

Pros: Immediately compatible. XMP was recognized perfectly....on a socket 775 board! No adjustments to timings necessary.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I have this set plus another for a total of 16gb on a GA-EP45T-DS3G board being used for my HTPC. All 16 work perfectly and provide more than enough memory for movies being streamed from Windows Home Server!

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice

Pros: Price, speed, DDR3, 8 GB in two modules

Cons: Not even one

Other Thoughts: Upgraded mobo, proc, RAM and HD and this kit does a great job. Jumped from ddr2 to ddr3 and from SATA II to SATA III and all is good. Great prices and support from Newegg!

1 out of 5 eggsBad Stick , Run-around on return

Pros: Bought it on the mushkin name

Cons: Constant BSOD and Windows scan reports its a memory issue. Called Mushkin twice; they demanded I use memtest86, ok fine. Used it and loads of errors on the quick scan. Isolated it to one stick and tried different slots on MB, still that stick. Then was told that scan wasn't thorough enough and I had to run all tests. I did that and then finally was told to send in both sticks and the turn around could take 6-8 weeks!!! Unfortunately being in grad school I need my PC every day. I wanted to leave one stick in so I could use my computer. Seems like a pretty effective swindle to not honor their product. Now selling camera gear to see if I can afford an 8 gig kit from a no-name company.

5 out of 5 eggsMushkin Quality

Pros: -Stable
-Runs at advertised speed and timings
-Looks cool

Cons: -None

Other Thoughts: My ASUS motherboard detected this at the correct bandwidth of DDR3-1600 but I had to set the timings to 9-9-9-24 manually. Just make sure your timings are set properly in BIOS so you get what you paid for.

Mushkin has always been a reliable supplier of performance RAM.
