1 out of 5 eggsOne dead stick after a year.

This review is from: Mushkin Enhanced Radioactive 12GB (3 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model 999005

Pros: The price is cheap.

Cons: I got a BSoD a few months ago. I didn't find any problems and it wasn't a big deal.
Then I got two more BSoD over the last few weeks and after the second BSoD, one of the memory sticks had stopped working.
I did not overclock. In fact, I ran them lower than 1600.

Other Thoughts: A stick failing after only a year with no overclocking is not good. My old Corsair memory from 2008 still works fine.

1 out of 5 eggsBad Ram

This review is from: Mushkin Enhanced Radioactive 12GB (3 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model 999005

Pros: Mushkin used to be a good brand.

Cons: One dead stick out of three in two sets. Tried to RMA but never received a ticket and no way to contact them

Other Thoughts: Will go with other brands if they can't solve this. RAM had been sitting waiting to build new machine. Was first time plugging these in. Checked all slots and verified dead sticks multiple ways.

5 out of 5 eggsSweet

This review is from: Mushkin Enhanced Radioactive 12GB (3 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model 999005

Pros: Had some 1333's in before if I recall running on dual channel, this kit is smoking now. They fixed the heatsink clip problems with new heatsinks that dont even have clips. They are very stable and with a lifetime warranty im not worried. And 12GB is more than most would ever need. I just plan on doing some intensive FEA here in the next year or so, and this clock speed will be great even when I upgrade.

Also they just look awesome against my blue mobo...

I had never heard of Mushkin till I decided to upgrade, but they seem like a pretty good company to me.

Cons: None yet. They run stable and fast.

Other Thoughts: It seems right now 1600 is a great clock speed for the price that unless you massively OC your processor your wont notice a significant increase.
