5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: Product looks very good in my build, worked out of the box correctly. Added to that a lifetime warranty and made in the US probably the best bang for the buck as far as ram goes.

Cons: None

2 out of 5 eggsNot a great purchase

Pros: Look nice
Quick
Responsive customer service
Quick RMA process
Price (got a great price, >95 per set)

Cons: Lots of errors
Warranty is not transferable according to customer service

Other Thoughts: I build about 4-12 desktops per year, once or twice a year one of the new systems develops a problem, typically it turns out to be RAM if it isn't the customers fault (malware issues). I purchased this RAM for myself and had problems straight away, (thankfully my customers haven had to deal with these problems). I'm usually too busy to deal with the BSODs so I just ignore them 'till I have time to deal with them, it must have been 2 months after I built the system that I got around to testing the memory but I didn't have time to test the sticks individually, I knew from the memtest that at least the stick in A1 was bad so I did the RMA for the first 4 sticks. The replacements performed much better but I was still getting a BSOD about once a week. I've had some additional time over the last week so I've been testing the RAM stick by stick and every other stick is bad. Keep in mind this is AFTER an RMA already. I don't normally write these reviews unless I'm impressed or upset, today I'm upset. This should be a rare occurrence not a 50% chance on each stick which is what it is turning out to be. In fact at this rate, my chances of getting a set of 4 properly working dimms is about 12/100. I'll be asking for a refund on this purchase from Mushkin if I can and I'll be avoiding them for future memory purchases.

4 out of 5 eggsMeh

Pros: This was very well priced, and the timings were decent. If you are looking for a simple install, this is a good bet.

Cons: The first set had a bad stick, but the RMA was easy enough.

Other Thoughts: My experience with Mushkin products is generally positive.

5 out of 5 eggsSO HAPPY

Pros: Bought double (x-79 build), plugged it in, booted. Done. Very nice look (thinking of painting 4 of them to go with the blue and black design, but I dont have the heart anymore because they are so clean in my case- thermaltake level 10 gts)

Cons: like somebody else said, it didn't jump out of the package and install itselt

Other Thoughts: Side not, on the gigabyte ud5, I did have to set the intel profile (but then again shouldn't you be checking that one first boot up?) It grabbed all 32 GBs no problem. I am lazy so having it boot properly the first time and since then. YES! WEI 7.9

i7 3820 (WEI 7.9 - it what it says without an oc)
32 gb MUSHKIN USA MADE LIFETIME WARRANTY
thermaltake level 10 gts and big water cooler extreme
Kingston HyperX 120 gb ssd (WEI 7.9)
ASUS GTS 450 ( I know old but WEI 7.2 with this build)
and then all the regular stuff

5 out of 5 eggsPerfection

Pros: Scores a 7.8/7.9 with WEI.
XMB 1.2 Profile is 9/9/9/24 @ 1600
Bios recognized perfectly, it might have not used the XMB profile by default - more of a bios thing anyway.
(Other thoughts)

Cons: none, I just wish I had bought 32 GB :P

Other Thoughts: Made in America and Mushkin is a solid and reliable company, I am going to be buying a couple SSDs and I can't think of any other company I would buy from.

3 out of 5 eggsThe Good, the Bad, and the Ugly.

Pros: Nice looking memory. Not to tall for my cpu cooler.

Cons: One stick did not work. DOA. More upset with Newegg's RMA dept becuase they would not send a replacement until this was returned. I have a $2k paperwieght beside my desk right now because I am waiting on the RMA/ replacement to come in. They say overnight shipping to send the new memory out but sent ground ups for the return, so at least a week wasted here.

Other Thoughts: I understand that no matter how much Quality control you have there are always going to be some DOA memory, so I am not upset with Mushkin and will continue to buy there products. I like the design of this memory and think that it will be solid, when and if i can ever get it into my new rig.

5 out of 5 eggsMushkin is the Man

Pros: MADE IN AMERICA. I saw that and was like "REALLY?". That plus a lifetime warranty mmmmm perfect. Runs great with the new lga2011. I have never had a problem with my mushkin parts. Very sleak design and is just low profile enough for me to fit my noctua in.

Cons: None
