5 out of 5 eggsWorks fine, lasts a long time

Pros: + low voltage
+ fast timings
+ sharp heat spreader
+ XMP profile

Cons: - a little spendy compared to other RAM choices
- the very slight bulge at the top of the Frostbyte heat spreader design causes the modules to touch in this motherboard as the DIMM slots are VERY close together. In other motherboards with a bit more space between the DIMM slots would negate this con

Other Thoughts: I'm using this RAM kit in an Asus Rampage IV Formula motherboard.
.
~ I'd like to say that the red color, with it's metallic finish, look AMAZING in this mobo! Looks way better IRL than in pictures.
~ The XMP profile worked perfectly and the RAM is dead stable at XMP settings. Holds up just fine under MemTest86.
~ PC Mark "Memory Mark" score of 2774
~ Windows 7 Ultimate index score of 7.9

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It works, it's fast, and it's plentiful. Reliable as well

Cons: previous poster is right, auto-detect and similar things within BIOS won't recognize these at advertised speeds, and when I tried his suggestion much to my dismay it caused some un-expected shutdowns, could be unrelated but doubtful.

Other Thoughts: This ram (and friend recommendation) has made me a mushkin for life.

5 out of 5 eggscheap performance!

Pros: great performance, low price, worked the first time/no hassle.
You can't tell from the pictures but it has a nice slight metallic
finish on the heat sink. looks boss on my Rampage IV formula (though I wanted the ridgeback over the frostbite but it was sold out, but I'm happy with the way it looks, especially next to my H100.

Cons: none so far, but only have had it a day

4 out of 5 eggsAddendum

Pros: In contrast to the above review I made, I was finally able to get the RAM to operate at the specified frequency by setting it to 1.65 volts. This is in contrast to the 1.5 volts that they are specified to run at. The chips do not become overly hot at this voltage and frequency however.

Cons: Needed to overvolt to get rated frequency

3 out of 5 eggsMushkin Enhanced Redline 16GB (4 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 14900) Desktop Memory Model 994007

Pros: Mushkin is a brand I've always trusted for quality, the RAM looks good, well made, and good packaging.

Cons: Via XMP or manually setting the speed and timings to what was listed I can't get this ram to run at 1866. That is regardless of processor speed. 1600 runs great. I won't go so far as to blame the RAM as it could be a board or BIOS issue, but bear that in mind. Also, Newegg no longer has this, so maybe there was an issue with it.

Other Thoughts: I plan on getting an additional 16GB of Redline, probably the same speed and see if I can get it to work at 1866. Eventually I'll use the whole 32GB but at least that'd let me know if I got a bad batch or it's across multiple boxes
