5 out of 5 eggsMushkin Quality

Pros: excellent quality, stable

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Installed in an i5 Mac Mini (Mid-2007) about a month ago--zero problems. Plenty of headroom for programs. I've been using Mushkin cards exclusively for all my machines (Macs and home-brew PCs) since about 2007, nothing so much as a hiccup so far. Very happy returning customer.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great in early 2011 15" MacBook Pro

Pros: works

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: I wasn't sure if this memory would work in a early 2011 MacBook Pro. The computer is originally rated for a maximum of 8GB of memory. All my Internet research indicated that 16GB would work, and it does.

With my usage patterns the system is faster due to more memory being used for the unified buffer. Before I had 8GB and memory wasn't being swapped out, but the unified buffer was small. Therefore, the system wasn't as fast. I was surprised at how much faster the computer is with the extra memory given that virtual memory wasn't being used (plenty of memory was available).

2 out of 5 eggs2 components, no mercy

Pros: The product works

Cons: (I am not referring to Mushkin, the manufacturer in this post) The company you are buying from has very poor service policies. It's good stuff, cheap, but they won't give you the time of day if, say, you damage one module of the pair, and ask whether they might sell you a single to replace it.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Lasting Memory

Pros: Easy install in my MBP 13" 2011.
Fast as it supposed to be
Durable

Cons: At the moment, none. On dual boot, this memory get 7,3 ( 7,3/7,5) on Windows Performance status.

Other Thoughts: Would greatly recommend it!
Good thing for the $$

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Ram, terrible shipping

Pros: Installed in two 2011 mac mini's. They both recognized the ram in all slots, singly and together. Immediate boost to performance with just one stick replacing the 2x1GB that Apple shipped these with.

Cons: Don't use the free shipping if you want to know where the package is or when it will arrive.

Other Thoughts: Newegg free shipping sucks. DHL tracks to their facility(about 3 days) and then it disappears into a black hole until USPS delivers sometime in the week after that. I would be much less upset off if the tracking had actually worked. I highly suggest purchasing from mazon or bay instead if you want to know where your package is and when it will arrive.

3 out of 5 eggsMine failed memtest

Pros: Seemed to work quite nicely aside from failing the test. Got another pair from Corsair and these pulled through.

Cons: Failed memtest rather quickly in Mac Mini Core i5 / 2.3GHz. I have used Mushkin mem in the past and had no problems. Maybe I got a bad pair.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks fine in a PC

Pros: Installed in my dell E6520; memory test was flawless. Currently have about 500 tabs open in chrome (lol) with no lag, and 8gig use only. Computer is blazing fast. Wondering now if my upcoming ssd order is an expensive luxury, might be overkill?

Cons: No complaints
