Not many manufacturers can say they design, assemble and test their products in the U.S.A. But Mushkin has been making its products in the U.S.A. since its inception in 1994. That means, for more than 19 years, we have been uniting all aspects of performance to engineer something you can't get from a spec sheet.

1 out of 5 eggsMushkin Enhanced Redline16 GB "NOT"

Pros: Very little. I wish I would have stick with enterprise ECC which never failed me in the pass.

If you try a brand for the first time and it fails on you, In my book, It means it will be your last experience with that brand. At least I have learn something about Mushkin and learning is half the battle.

Cons: NOT 16GB, one stick died on me very early. And what a pain it was to diagnose it. I was letting me install my OS, but than would make for the most unstable machine I have ever work with. Testing memory takes a lot more time that what I was expecting. Testing the memory was also the last thing on my lift as I have never had faulty RAM

I was in a rush before holydays, so I never got to find the time to tell the world about how much you should try an other brand.

My product was sold to me as a 16GB package. Wich is quite a lie. 12GB is not 16GB. This make for a 100% failure rate of my package.

Other Thoughts: Well A système will work on 12 GB, that extra 4GB would only make your computer works as intented. Who would want that anyway.

I Might take the time durings holydays to send them back their bad stick and let Mushkin know about some of my deep feelings on the subject.

5 out of 5 eggsgood RAM

Pros: Fast good RAM
Nice looking sticks
not too spendy

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: with crosshair v formula z mother board have to manually set timings to 9-9-9-27. Have with 8350 oc'd to 4.5ghz, gets some high passmark memory scores for this type of setup. in the 1550-1600 range. Haven't tried tightening mem timings more or oc'ing ram. Had over 2 months, no flaws. Runs cool. Pretty happy with what I got.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: >Very solid. I'm not worried about breaking these heat sinks during installation or removal
>Extremely fast RAM, and no factory Overclocking means I'm not worried about these bad boys going nuclear
>An American company and product
>Lifetime warranty

Cons: Absolutely nothing

Other Thoughts: It it's good enough for NASA, it's good enough for me. Mushkin, between being such a quality product and an American producy, has become my only choice for RAM. I send enough of my money over-seas on every build.
At the same time, my tastes in aesthetics has become more conservative over the years. It's particularly hard to find "minimalist" RAM, while still being performance RAM with heatsinks. almost the entirety of Mushkin's line of memory fills this void. Worth every penny

2 out of 5 eggsDissapointed

Pros: Looks cool

Cons: 1 stick failed right out of the box. I've tried switching to another slot and still failed.
Customer service does not return emails. I'm going to return these and go with another brand.

5 out of 5 eggsAs Expected

Pros: The base timings are good out of the box relative to the price. I have mine running on a crosshair V 990fx board at 8-8-8-24 @ 1T i'm sure they can be tweaked further. I have noticed they only release modules like this for a limited time on newegg before going to a different model number with different timings and a higher price.

Cons: Price however I paid 150+ for a 2x2 gb kit from them with 6-8-6-24 timings a few years ago.

Other Thoughts: A kit with two modules and the same timings as this kit of four modules would cost more from this company. So per module this kit is cheaper. I also would like to add compared to Gskil which i've also used the only real difference is the weight of the heatsink and the fact mushkin is a Colorado based company. Also just a note my 2x2gb kit with the 6-8-6-24 timings would overclock to 2133mhz at 9-10-9-24 @ 1T with little to no voltage increase. So that should tell you something about Mushkin Ram.

5 out of 5 eggsAnother reason to buy mushkin memory

Pros: -1.5v - Voltage can be increased to tighten timings, lots of headroom here

-Lifetime warranty, not that you'll ever need it

Cons: -None

Other Thoughts: I bought my first set of Mushkin ram about 5 years ago and never looked back, this product is another example why. I'm currently running these at 1866Mhz at 8-8-8-24/1T...Intel Burn test stable at max setting.

With the negligible performance gain from spending another $40-$50+ on 2000+ Mhz RAM, I found these to be a great buy- Would definitely purchase again!
