INNOVATION AT ITS CORE.

What if? Two simple words. But when combined, the possibilities are endless. At Mushkin, we've stopped simply asking, "What if the impossible was possible," and started manufacturing it. This thought is at the core of every Mushkin Innovation. And it's led our engineers to develop everything from industry leading performance gaming memory to some of the most impressive storage technologies on the market. Try our innovations yourself and explore what's possible with Mushkin products.

MADE IN THE U.S.A.

Not many manufacturers can say they design, assemble and test their products in the U.S.A. But Mushkin has been making its products in the U.S.A. since its inception in 1994. That means, for more than 20 years, we have been uniting all aspects of performance to engineer something you can't get from a spec sheet.

5 out of 5 eggsGood product, no problems yet

Pros: Fast, easy install, no problems so far. Had it for four months, it's running great.

Cons: None that I can think of.

Other Thoughts: I got a little bit too much ram for my purposes, but that just means I'll never run out. For most graphics intensive computer users, I would recommend about 8-16Gb. If you're just using your computer for web surfing or documents or something, I would go with 2-4. For any animators, you can use anywhere from 16Gb to maxing out the capacity of your Mobo. I eventually figured out a use for all 32 Gb.

5 out of 5 eggsGood RAM, Good Price

Pros: Got them while they were cheap ($144.99); much cheaper than anything else available at the time.

I've been running these DIMMs in one of my home servers now for about 3 months and I haven't had any problems. I will be purchasing another set once I install my new 8-DIMM LGA 2011 motherboard and i7 3820 (stepping stone to Ivy Bridge-E).

Cons: None off the bat, but we'll see how they hold up in the long term.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: In the first six months the ram did great, it was fast.

Cons: Completely died on me after six months almost to the day I started the computer with it.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well

Pros: I've had this set for over a few months now and it's still working great in my setup. I have it in my all ESXi box running a few VM's (OI (home NAS), Server 2012, and Windows 8) and I still have plenty more memory to distribute. I was contemplating between this and ECC for my setup but this has been working just fine for what I'm doing.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I remember paying the same amount for RAM back in 2004 from newegg. $150 for a 512MB kit (2x256MB).

5 out of 5 eggsNo worries

Pros: Works perfectly.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Several days of Memtest86+ revealed no problems. System is running stable.

Installed in an Intel DQ77MK Desktop Board, some of the modules are a tight fit against each other, but they fit. I've configured the BIOS settings for reduced power consumption and I haven't yet given them any harsh workloads beyond MemTest86+, so these modules are living the easy life. I'm running them with an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770S CPU @ 3.10 GHz.
