4 out of 5 eggsVery fast and affordable

Pros: * Speed as advertised: 200 MB/s read, 40 MB/s write
* Good random-access performance - great for ReadyBoost

Cons: * One of these failed after about 3 months of occasional use. I plugged it in and Windows would not detect it - the light just kept blinking. After plugging it into my Linux machine, the system log reported the USB device resetting every 300 ms, along with I/O errors on sector 0. Definitely seems like a dead controller, rather than Flash wear-out.

Other Thoughts: I have bought a total of 5 of these in the past year, and 4 of them are still working - not too bad as far as flash drives go.

5 out of 5 eggsMushkin Ventura Plus 32gb

Pros: This device worked exceptionally well, beyond my expectations actually. The read speed in real world testing came out to be around 194MB/s average for each test and the pleasantly surprising bit was the write speed averaged 51 MB/s. Above the rated speed by a good margin. The drive feels like it was built very solid and easily the best usb drive I've ever picked up.

Cons: No cons, other than the fact of two weeks in my girlfriend lost it. I think my next purchase will be the 64Gb enhanced ventura pro plus.

Other Thoughts: I was worried that it would not reach the rated speeds but I noticed most people who review this do not write down their motherboard which is a huge factor because not all usb 3.0 ports are equal on cheap motherboards. So unless their board is stated take the review with a grain of salt.

I have a Gigabyte UD3-H z87

4 out of 5 eggsDecent USB 3.0 Flash Drive

Pros: It works like a charm I keep a good amount of stuff on it. I keep and run all my portable apps off it. Price is good, made pretty strong, and it's simple no crazy design or anything.

Cons: The cap you can clip on the back while your using the flash drive, however mine doesn't want to stay on at all. So thats the only reason I gave it 4.

Other Thoughts: Decent size, good price, good company, and fast when using 3.0 I'd recommend it.

4 out of 5 eggsGood for your money

Pros: It works, faster in comparison to other usb 3.0 drives. Good 32 Gb drive for your money. Works with Windows, Linux and Mac.

Cons: Took 1 egg for the recognition speed. On some PCs it takes time to recognize in usb 3.0 port. However usb 2.0 slot will show it immediately. Tested it on 10 different machines.

5 out of 5 eggsGood to go

Pros: As expected of almost any drive of this generation, it's plug and play. It's fast, as long as you have the slot to support it. At 32gb you can drop just about anything on it that you would really want on a USB drive.

Cons: None. Got just what I asked for.

Other Thoughts: I bought the Mushkin drive because I've had a long history with Mushkin, mainly from using their RAM in all my PCs, and never once have I had a Muskin product stop working. They're a great company, and this drive (for me anyway) has been no exception. If you want a quality drive that delivers great speeds. This is the one.

5 out of 5 eggsDoes the trick

Pros: 52 max write, 203 max read with default format(fat32). got this to hold my Linux virtual machines and personal user folders on my school laptop(support tech A.A.S) that has only a 64Gb ssd to reduce writes and save space since i break em every other day. obviously for virtual machines, fat32 does not support files than 4Gb. after formatting to exFAT i got 46 writes and 199 reads. I did not try it, but I know for a fact that wouldn't be the case for NTFS. As for installing VM's its not as fast as local installs on my ssd but it's about the same as if you were doing a real install on a mechanical drive. As for reading them, Its good, but you need to realize that a ssd with 200Mbs reads is going to have more input/output operations per second than a flash drive of the same speeds so it does hang for one second here and there when updating and what have you, so don't think this is going to be a real ssd

Cons: In 10+ years never once have I ever had a problem with a Mushkin product, RAM, SSD's, flash drives.

Other Thoughts: I plugged the drive in for the first time, windows went through It's installing driver deal, and i got 20Mb writes and 40 Mb reads. tried this on two machines. Unplugged it put it back in and good to go. Which would lead me to believe that even though windows says installing drivers they are not applied until the device is plugged in the second time. so if you plug it in the first time and run ATTO and don't get the results you wanted, unplug it then try it again before crying wolf.
