Mushkin Enhanced Chronos MKNSSDCR240GB-7 2.5" 240GB SATA III 7mm Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Pros: This drive has not let me down over the last several months. Never flinched, stable performance and quick.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Don't buy based on price unless your goal is simply to be quicker than your old HDD. Even then, my experience with other SSDs has been mixed, with another brand's V4 being slower than my old HDDs until re-flashed with updated firmware (time will tell).

Pros: Very VERY fast, there in a Raid 0 striped at 120k, i did a test, im getting only 527MB/sec ONLY because my motherboard is DDR2 for one, and SATA1, lol.. I am sure if you had a up to date board and a raid 0 with these you would see 900+ MB/sec. But i got them because there MB/sec and there IOPS are very sweet numbers and there affordable! Very happy with them! Very easy to install, no driver issues, no hangs, no errors so far. Perfect! Even windows XP they worked :) Everything loads instantly. World of Warcraft is soo much better too. lol 2M hour life, 2 watts, its amazing.

Cons: There not your standard size hard drive.. I had to hot glue them to my case lol.

Other Thoughts: If you Raid 0, and have 2 or more of SSD drives, the TRIM will not work, which is about useless anyways..

Pros: Awesome drive, highly recommended upgrade for an aging laptop. Even though you may not get full SATA III performance, but it will still pep an older machine right up. Great price for a fast drive.
