INNOVATION AT ITS CORE.

What if? Two simple words. But when combined, the possibilities are endless. At Mushkin, we've stopped simply asking, "What if the impossible was possible," and started manufacturing it. This thought is at the core of every Mushkin Innovation. And it's led our engineers to develop everything from industry leading performance gaming memory to some of the most impressive storage technologies on the market. Try our innovations yourself and explore what's possible with Mushkin products.

MADE IN THE U.S.A.

Not many manufacturers can say they design, assemble and test their products in the U.S.A. But Mushkin has been making its products in the U.S.A. since its inception in 1994. That means, for more than 20 years, we have been uniting all aspects of performance to engineer something you can't get from a spec sheet.

Other Thoughts: This ram was installed in my new desktop. Works well, heat-sink is heavy, dissipates heat well.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat memory

Pros: Runs at advertised speed, looks good, and its worked flawlessly since I purchased it. Loaded XMP profile with no issues. Great timings for 2133.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I've been buying Mushkin products for a few generations now and have always had a positive experience. I've also dealt with them directly and have had an overall great experience with their customer service and company.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks great

Pros: It's ram and it works...and it's black with cool heatspreaders. I don't know what else to say, they run like they're supposed to.

Cons: XMP profile loaded, but I still had to set the clockspeed even though it seemed to have detected it(it was running at 1600 before manually setting it). Apparently though this is fairly common so I won't dock any eggs for it...I mean as long as you're not afraid to go into the UEFI(BIOS for us old-ish builders) to change it it took no time at all.

Other Thoughts: Mushkin has worked well for me, so I guess they sort of have a fanboy in me. That said I know there are plenty of other great memory manufacturers out there(some with their own fabrication labs).

2 out of 5 eggsHeatsink not well secured

Pros: Appears to work OK but haven't had the chance to try the XMP profile yet.

Cons: The heat sink on one of the DIMM modules literally fell off as I was trying to install it in the motherboard. Not something I would expect in a product in this price range..

4 out of 5 eggsCan't get rated speed

Pros: very solid, well built and good-looking heatsinks
looks great in my rig
runs decent speeds/timings solidly (see cons)
16gb in 2 sticks

Cons: Bought these as an upgrade from 8GB of GSkill ram (rated for 2400 and which ran fine at 2200 (using i5 3570 non K)). Couldn't get these to run at rated speeds on my Z77A-GD55 using either XMP or manually selecting, best they will do is a stable 1866 at Timing 10-12-12-28 Command rate 1, (tested with 10 passes of memtest86+, OCCT and Intel Burn In); which is, pretty good for the price I paid of 120 after sale price +10% off coupon, so I won't RMA them. As an aside, I tried them in a GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3 and Windows will just hang on the boot screen,(repair Windows didn't help) no matter how low I clock this memory (1333 with loose timings) so there might be some incompatibility if you're running that particular board (or it might be the board itself. It will also run those same 8gb GSkills at 2133).

Other Thoughts: 1st time Mushkin buyer...I understand it might be my boards (this ram was not on MSi's or Gigabyte's QVL) or somehow slightly defective sticks, which does happen. I'd love to try these in an ASUS mobo (like the one another reviewer had), but right now I'm on the fence as to whether I'd purchase this brand again if I was looking for maximum speeds for overclocking. I have heard this company is good and they are US based, so that's a plus to consider if it matters to you.

5 out of 5 eggsFast, Good Looking, and Affordable

Pros: They run at 2133MHz at 1.6v(Slightly higher voltage than advertised) totally stable no issues.
Fast
Look nice, fit into my color scheme.
A steal for the price I got them for $124.99
The heat sinks have a real solid build quality.
Can hold 2133MHz stable even with a 4.7GHz overclock on my i5 4670k (3.4GHz@stock).

Cons: It was kind of hassle installing them they were a very tight fit in my MOBO's ram slots compared to the Gskill ripjaws DIMM I have. Despite the tight fit it was only a slightly annoying.

Other Thoughts: You will have to go into your bios and set up your Dram timings and speed or your XMP profile. It defaults at 1600MHz if you don't do this. Its not really a big deal just takes a few minuets and is really easy.

I have an ASUS Maximus VI Hero Lga 1150 MOBO, i5 4670k, H110 water cooler.

2 out of 5 eggsDid i get a bad batch?

Pros: Looks nice, supposed to be a great company.

Cons: Plugged in RAM set BIOS to XMP saved profile and restarted nothing, blank screen. Next tried to enter speeds manually 1600, 2000, left timings on auto, changed voltage to 1.58v it works, but will not start at advertised speed of 2133.

Other Thoughts: I sent Mushkin a support ticket hope to hear back soon. Current gaming setup is Asus Maximus V, 3770K, AX850, R9 290x. 2x840 pro RAID0.

5 out of 5 eggsA+ memory

Pros: Classy black design, performs as advertised (2133 is sweet spot for Haswell and this set has incredible timings), great price. Will buy a second pair.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Mushkin is a US company... Support domestic!
