Every computer needs more memory, unless you've filled all your slots. Generally speaking, you always need more. No matter what you have, or if you're building something new, memory is vital. Usually, the more you have the better the computer will perform. Just make sure you have the "right stuff."
Designed specifically to offer mainstream users excellent performance and quality at a value price, the OCZ Value series doesn't disappoint. It is perfect for those who want great performance but don't want to break the bank to do so.
OCZ's 1GB DDR2 667 (PC2 5400) module is perfect for adding to your computer's performance. Running at 533MHz, these modules are already primed for power. Just one of these modules will provide such a huge performance increase that you may not want to remember what it was like before you added it to your system!

Great RAM!
- Pros: Now having 2 of these in my system is great! I've been watching the price of this chip for about a year, when I bought my first stick. I have virtually no lag now, and rendering in 3ds max is quicker. Games load quicker.
- Cons: Paying $100 for the first stick, $25 for the second. Also not being able to run them at 667 (motherboard is junk) but I don't think that's a big deal.
- Other Thoughts: I play a lot of games on my computer as well as do a lot of multitasking when using photoshop and 3ds max. Having 2gb of RAM is great and makes my life almost pain free. I don't see the need of running out and buying all high-end expensive equipment for computers like a lot of people tend to do.
Worked great.
- Pros: Cheap, solid memory capacity for budget gamers and excellent for workstations. Fast class of RAM, just below the current max of 800.
- Cons: None, other than the expected lower quality of speed as compared to, say, Crucial's better RAM sticks.
- Other Thoughts: ECS 945P-A mobo. Used 2 sticks for 2 GB total RAM, running at the full 667, the highest speed normally available at the time of purchase. I plugged them in, and they worked at startup. Over a year and a half of perfect record so far.
