Pros: Excellent price after rebate. Probbaly the lowest price DDR3 modules you can get with decent speed.

4 out of 5 eggsOne died.

Pros: It's great. After just over a year, 3 of my 4 sticks are still going fine and running great oced.

Cons: 1 has died. Thinking it was the hard drives, I replaced all 4 hdd I had and finally decided to test the ram stick by stick.

All of them ran memtest over 1000% except this one hit about 60% and errored.

Other Thoughts: Decent enough, but now I have a hard time trusting OCZ ram. Though it's never failed me in the past. It happens.

Manufacturer Response:

Hello, we are sorry for the problem. Please visit the link below and create a support ticket to start the RMA process. We will get back to you with RMA details.
Thank you.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat, Love the tech support

Pros: Had trouble with modules working with my P5Q3 Deluxe board (problem more consistent with the board, rather than memory, apparently) OCZ Tech Forums were immensly helpful in resolving the issues quickly and painlessly by offering all sorts of profiles and settings to get the board running smoothly with these modules. Never had such a great experience trying to get tech support from the manufactuer.

Cons: First modules had to be RMA'd, but NewEgg was fast and I actually had my new memory next day to finish the installaton. Though listed as being optimized for ASUS boards, mine would not immediatly work with te P5Q3 Deluxe and required much tweaking.

Other Thoughts: This is the first time I have tried to put some time into overclocking, OCZ forums not only provided endless solutions to getting the system to run, but was a significant help for me getting a FAST system

5 out of 5 eggsSpeedy RAM

Pros: Great RAM, especially with a Newegg deal and mail-in rebate stacking up. Went in at 1333 and bumped up to 1800 without any trouble whatsoever. Smokin' fast. Haven't OC'd it, and probably won't. Plenty fast for games.

Cons: It looks like the heatspreaders are glued on to the RAM, and one of mine (out of 4) started to separate. Pressed it on again and it hasn't budged that I've noticed.

Nothing to be concerned about, but good to be aware.

Other Thoughts: Just from reading hundreds of these reviews, I know that alot of speedy RAM tends to ship at 1333, and must be juiced up to stock speeds by the purchaser. It's not a con, and it isn't really difficult to do, but it would be cool (for us noobs) if the RAM shipped at the advertised speeds.

5 out of 5 eggsProblems at first, but solved them

Pros: Memory is very fast, and once BIOS settings were tweaked, no BSOD's or lockups. I have a Gigabyte GA-X48T-DQ6 motherboard with an Intel Q9300 processor that, thanks to the OCZ forums, I've been able to overclock from 2.5GHz to 3.2GHz.

Cons: Tweaking took some reading and then some time to adjust BIOS settings, but it was worth the trouble in the end.

Other Thoughts: Once I stopped using Gigabytes MB Intelligent Tweaker, I was able to get everything to work properly.

5 out of 5 eggsAt last!!!!

Pros: At last, after 3 RMAs this rams are fast!!!!.I have a 790i Ultra Sli mobo and I was having problems but now I'm running them @1800MHz 8-7-7-21 2T @2.0v.

Cons: OCZ support is no help at all.The technician told me that my problem was my hard drives. I RMA'd the rams and when I got the new ones they ran without any flaws.I almost spend $300 on hard drives thanks to ocz support(I didn't believe him).

Other Thoughts: EVGA 790i Ultra sli, Intel QX6850 @3.6GHz,FSB1600MHz,4GB DDR3 1800MHz OCZ ram,2 x 9800 GX2 SSC,1300 Tagan PSW and a Cooler Master Cosmos S.

1 out of 5 eggsDon't buy this ram!!!!!!!!

Pros: None.

Cons: I have a 790i ultra sli mobo and all I get with this ram is a blue screen and constant crashing. I contacted OCZ tech support and they are very slow helping you. I'm very dissapointed with OCZ and I will never buy a OCZ product again. All of you guys out there thinking of buying this ram..DON'T or you will regret it. Sorry OCZ but your rams are low quality.

Other Thoughts: RMA'ed mine 3 times and still having the same problem.I adjusted the voltage to 1.95 and I'm still crashing even @ 1333.I will buy the kingston.

Manufacturer Response:

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage

Pros: Absolutely none!!! built new pc with asus extreme maximus ddr3 MB,2gb of this GARBAGE ram,9800gtx2,E8400 3.0ghz,3 WD 150GB raptors raid0, Cooler master cosmos box. Blue Screen and crashes
with this memory. Called asus and they told me that many OCZ ram
isn't compatible with that MB. Later made a call to OCZ where their support treats you like a child telling me that i had bought a cheap chip. They also told me that this ram cannot run at 1800MHz. whats the deal here ????

Cons: everything

Other Thoughts: Currently waiting for Kingston HyperX 2GB 1800MHz which will work!!! never again with OCZ. By the way The representative i spoke to was Walt Willis
Technical Support Supervisor for OCZ who told me that that this ram cannot do 1800MHz

Manufacturer Response:

Hello, we are sorry that you are having problems. The response from ASUS is a standard one. If they choose not to test memory, then it's not compatible, even though it may very well be (in this case it is proven compatible). As far as the issues you are having, we recommend a visit to our support forums. We should be able to troubleshoot your system and provide you with settings. The forums are a better venue for these problems, as you can test over several hours (or days) and get back to the techs with your results. I'm not sure of the specific interaction you had, but OCZ support is always fair, willing to help and informative to our customers.
Thank you

5 out of 5 eggsExtreme DDR3 Performance at Decent Price

Pros: Excellent Memory-runs error free as rated 1800mhz 8-8-8-24-2T at 1.95v. Also does 8-8-21-2T at 1.95v. Does Cas 7-7-7-21 at 1600 at 1.8v, 8-8-8-24-2T at 1900mhz 2.0V, haven't tried 2000mhz yet but reviews on this memory prove that it can run 2000mhz at cas9.

Cons: The word is out on this stuff-priced like everyone elses entry level DDR3 memory, so it's hard to find this in stock.
RIDICULOUS REBATE RULES-MUST SEND IN RIGHT AWAY!!!
Was going to mail mine in but found out that I waited too long-MUST BE POST MARKED WITHIN 12 CALANDAR DAYS of sale. Well if you ordered on a Friday by the time you have your memory in hand it's 6 days later. I missed the date by one day.

Other Thoughts: You'll love the memory but finding this in stack and playing the rebate game will leave a bad taste in your mouth.
