You get a choice in thermal management options. You can go passive and let the massive heat spreaders and fins pull heat away from the memory chips. Or you can go active and attach the modules to your water cooling system. The addition of water cooling allows you to operate your system at extreme speeds without worrying about thermal overload.

Pros: worked great just had to manually set timings to 6-6-6-18 1600 on an EVGA 790i. The EVP allows you to set the voltage to 2.1 and not void any warranty so i managed to further tighten the timings to 5-5-5-15, which i havent heard of any ddr3 reaching

Cons: i really wish water cooling blocks on this ram fit a 3/8 hose (theyre much smaller than 3/8), but i really didnt buy this ram for the water cooling. Instead, I bought it for the timings

Don't Use with i7 Systems!!!!

Pros: Very fast, and great timings. If I didn't have a i7 system I would love this memory, top quality stuff.

Cons: 1.95V (not bad if you don't have an i7 system)

Other Thoughts: intel is at this time suggesting the use of 1.65V ram and under. Any ram running at over 1.65V can PERMANANTLY damage your i7 cpu. This ram works fine at 1.65V but cannot achieve the 1600mhz speeds at this voltage. Timings are still tight, but stuck at 1333mhz

Pros: Scored 1000 points higher on 3dmark06 compared to a similar setup as mine

That other system I compared my system too had 3 times as much ram and I scored 1000 points higher on 3dmark06

Scored 5 eggs because I was rather impressed I beat a similar system as mine by 1000 points on 3dmark06 with 1/3rd the ram.

Cons: 1 of the 2 sticks was DOA.

Despize DOA's

Instead of RMA'ing this, I need to get 2 more sets of this ram anyways... another set will allow me to use Tri-channel setup.... and I'm impatient as hell... so I'd rather use 1GB of ram upgrade to 3 rather than wait 2 weeks for my RMA to go through.
