- Other Thoughts: ocz is amazing.
OCZ Customer Service ROCKS!
- Pros: I purchased an OCZ 2 x 1GB 1066 PC2 kit from Newegg just over a year ago. After roughly 14 months of use, one of my stick became faulty. I contacted OCZ about the problem. They attempted to help me troubleshoot via email just to ensure it, indeed, was the memory that was faulty. After just couple emails back and forth (which they always responded quickly), they authorized an RMA#. The shipping center was in CA and I live in FL. I HAD TWO BRAND NEW STICKS ON MY DOOR STEP 7 DAYS LATER!
- Cons: One stick failed after a year of use. But hey, things happen. OCZ was ULTRA quick to fix the problem. They turned a possible con into a double-pro!!
DOA
- Pros: NONE
- Cons: Don't really have any sticks were dead. Tried in the slots I had my Reaper set in and kept getting computer freezes. Put Reaper set back and computer works fine.
- Other Thoughts: From other reviews seems you have a 50/50 chance on good ram I was the other 50 good luck. Have owned a pair of OCZ Reaper since 9/15/2008 no problems with that set guess I should of bought .

Manufacturer Response:Hello, we are sorry that you are having difficulties. When switching memory types this problem is not uncommon. Please install one stick of your new memory, reset your BIOS per your manual and then boot up. Next go into your BIOS and set memory voltage to the value shown the label on each stick. Then save and reboot, shut down, and install the 2nd stick. You should be operating fine at this point. Please visit our support forums at the link below if you have any questions, or would like some setting suggestions. Thank you
