Pros: I have had this along with my i7-920 works great. I have not needed to overclock the memory so maybe that is why I have had zero issues with this memory.

Cons: No cons, love the product works as expected.

Pros: Decent memory when it worked.

Cons: I bought 2 bundles of this stuff, close to $300 dollars at the time. 1 pack of 3 sticks was fine, the other pack had 1 stick that wouldn't even let the system boot up if it was in and had close to 40,000 errors on memtest, another stick had over 30 errors on memtest, and the last stick was fine. I did the RMA twice...first time, the guy kept asking for information I had already given him, so I gave up. A year later I tried again, sent in the sticks, they said they were going to refund me $70 a kit, but when they recieved the items they said the warrentee was void because a sticker was removed.....A STICKER THAT ONLY SAID PC3 12800 AND WAS COVERING THE HEAT SPREADER...some how taking that off voided the warrentee. Yeah, lets just fail to remember your product didn't work straight out of the box. This sticker isn't more than half an inch big...and they don't even MAKE MEMORY ANY MORE...NOT LIKE THEY ARE GOING TO RESELL IT. I will never buy OCZ again. The service is terrible.

We aplogize for the problem, and that your warranty was voided. Our policy has always been that if the ID stickers are removed from any OCZ product, the warranty is void. This is done to eliminate tampered or altered memory kits from being returned. Thank you

Pros: Great performance, no heat issues to date!

Cons: None I can think of!

Other Thoughts: Came with a great rebate, and definitely felt safe ordering through Newegg! I've been incredibly happy with the quality and performance of the RAM, and I'll happily buy from OCZ again in the future.

Pros: For the month that it worked after purchase, it worked well enough.

Cons: One of the sticks started returning errors and causing random BSODs at start-up after a month of use. Replacing the OCZ RAM with some equivalent RAM from another company fixed the issue. RMA'd the RAM to OCZ, only to receive back that they have discontinued the product and can only refund my money. However, they refuse to refund the purchase price, and will only refund current market value, leaving me out more than $20 and the time/money spent returning the product, all for a month of use.

As a side note, the RAM I replaced the OCZ product with was less expensive and returns a higher rating at stock settings in the Windows 7 performance test. I am overall very disappointed with the company if this is standard practice.

Other Thoughts: Were the RAM still in working order, I would likely be pleased with its performance. However, as things are now, it is unlikely that I will buy anything from OCZ in the future.

Pros: Was cheap at the time.

Cons: All 3 sticks died after 12 months. Verified with memtest86

Pros: I've had this memory in my PC for about a year, no problems at all.

Cons: None that I've had

Other Thoughts: I haven't overclocked it.

Pros: The working DIMMS work as advertised....

Cons: Arrived DOA.

Since this was my first build, I thought I picked out a wrong part when I was greeted with frequent BSOD/instability. Problems went away then using 2/3 DIMMS, so I thought my motherboard was not compatible with 6GB.


Fast forward a few months, I find the Intel documention on Flex Channel memory usage.... and discover I have a bad DIMM, and had a bad DIMM from day 1.


Now OCZ wants me to RMA at my cost, a product that was DOA. They will not answer my questions as to if I will receive a replacement or credit, so I do not feel comfortable sending my RAM to them for RMA as it seems they are a bit clueless.

Other Thoughts: Wouldn't buy OCZ again.

Pros: they work *still*
don't run hot even when OC'd
can OC on low voltage *got them to 1800*
for ddr3 not to hi of a price

Cons: difficult to OC *may be motherboard issue*
couldn't find a stable voltage to go beyond 1800

Other Thoughts: OCZ's rebate program is bad
asked for the card, took 90 days same as check
card can only be used as exact amount or less
my card account got hacked in to and lost the rebate amount. we all need to protest and get manufactures to stop with the rebates and just lower the price!
city bank was notified and is doing nothing about it!
video i posted shows the card and its been deactivated.

Pros: I love this RAM, absolutely great for its price, however I had one of my 2 gig sticks burn out before much use, but ill still give it 5 eggs as the others perform great and one fluke isnt a big deal, I mean face it it happens, and it was a good excuse to buy more!
