Decent RAM
- Pros: Fast, stable, cheap. Has a heat spreader. Not much else to say.
- Cons: Mediocre overclocking. Couldn't push 'em past ~1420, even after loosening timings.
Motherboard didn't detect any of the memory settings by default. Had to set voltages/timings/etc. by hand. Most likely the mobo, but thought I'd note it here.
- Other Thoughts: Running an i7 920 at 3675, memory at 1400, default timings.
Solid DDR3 for X58 LGA1366 / Core I7
- Pros: Fast, Solid, good CAS, good DDR3 memory for my I7 LGA1366 setup. Good memory
- Cons: none, it has worked solid.
Overclockable
- Pros: It's fast, stable and OCed to 1600 MHz no problem. Ran Prime95 with the blend test to hit the RAM the most.
- Cons: It's only 3 GB?
- Other Thoughts: The time I bought this it cost as much as the 6 GB does now. I am currently running it at 1463 MHz with my i7 920 OCed to 3.66 GHz. No hiccups or crashes with many hours logged in Vista 64 bit.
