Great memory
- Pros: Good memory ,Good price,I hit 1910 mhz at 2:10 10,10,10,30,88,2T ,with My cpu overclocked at 20 plus the turbo at 21x191 running at 4Ghz on a evga classified and i7 920
- Cons: Hard to get to the stated speeds with out a lot of test
- Other Thoughts: Will buy again very stable and the best price for the speed
Zahl
- Pros: Can do 1700MHz at 8-8-8-24-1N with only 1.6v on my Asus P6T7 ws-sc board.
- Cons: Cannot get it stable past 1700MHz not matter what
- Other Thoughts: Probably not the ram to blame but rather the cpu/board for not being able to run these at rated speed. Still very happy with the performance to price ratio
Wont hit 2000mhz!!!
- Pros: I thought i was getting a great deal on some really fast memory so I would have plenty of headroom for overclocking. I was wrong.
- Cons: Currently the only way I can get this memory to stably post is at 1600mhz at timings of 11 11 11 24 which are completely not even remotely good. It posts at that and at 1066 at 7 7 7 24 other than that it won't post. I've been overclocking my i-7 rig for a few days now and this memory has been stable between the 1333-1600mhz range at those timings. Absolutely never once posted with the timings on the box even at stock settings for the cpu and voltages. This ram is simply unstable and its not even 2000mhz its 1600 11 11 11 24 at best. THIS MEMORY NEVER HIT 2000mhz at 10 10 10 30 EVER! and still will not.
- Other Thoughts: I should have known better. you get what you pay for. OCZ does have good deals and I've had success with their products in the past but this RAM just isnt 2000 mhz ram its 1333 or 1600 that they squeazed through. I will be returning this item and purchasing a new one unless i can get someone to contact me and fix this issue at OCZ. Thanks.
