1 out of 5 eggshit and miss

Pros: runs fast when it does run

Cons: Major issues with this RAM, unreliable, failed after 2 days of putting it in, getting blue screen memory dump errors every time I play games, use firefox, and install games. If you buy this you have a chance of it working great or running like a pile of s***, or even a DOA, be ready to return it, Unfortunately I did not install mine until about 29 days after I bought it (I ordered my gaming pc part by part, this was one of the first i ordered) and they won't refund/replace it on the 30th day

Other Thoughts: I wish i would have bought Kingston, going to contact OCZ and get a replacement hopefully

Manufacturer Response:

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Fast stuff, Hasn't killed my pc. Didn't Realize this ram is for INTEL ONLY!!! I didn't buy it from Newegg so I can't send it back because for some reason I lost the original pakaging like an idiot lol. Oh well now I have a reason to make an Intel system.

Cons: Not a universal ram.

Other Thoughts: If you are looking for AMD ram I am purchasing http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227496
As a replacement as a recommendation from OCZ.

5 out of 5 eggsquality

Pros: Quick and fast, price is not too steep for the quality. i bought 2 pairs to have 8 gigs, pc runs flawless on Win7 Pro 64. Great option for i7 8xx.

Cons: No real cons, just 4gb is too little these days for any 64bit high performance pc, so i got 2 pairs.

Other Thoughts: Memory received a 7.4 on the windows rating, but so did my Core i7 875k so.... all in all, worked great.

5 out of 5 eggsI'm Sticking With OCZ

Pros: This is my third set of OCZ memory. OCZ tries to be capatable with most MB and I've not ever had a problem with their memory. You MUST always check the MB compatability with the specific memory you intend to use.
Worked on my Gigabyte 890GPA-UD3H right off the bat!

Cons: FASTER, FASTER

Other Thoughts: I bought this here while on sale. Thank NewEgg for another great purchase and fast delivery.
If you're not shopping at the Egg your not getting it NEW!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat memory

Pros: very fast memory, scored a 7.7 on windows 7. Installed and booted up first time with no problems, seems to stay cool.

Cons: I have had a hard time getting it to overclock past 1600 mhz with a AS Rock P55 Extreme motherboard.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good memory OC'ers, look elsewhere

Pros: Price
Compatibility
Looks cool

Cons: Needs to be tweaked to get advertised settings
These really do not overclock well
They like loose timings

Other Thoughts: Not bad memory. If your not planning on overclocking these, they will work great for you

The most bandwidth I could squeeze out of these was
17 GB/s 4G kit

I should mention that this is with AMD PhenomII. Intel guys may have much better luck in the overclocking department.

5 out of 5 eggsHave 12GB (got 3 2x2GB kits)

Pros: These ran at 1440mhz with 1.6v using 7-7-7-24 timings.
I thought i would test these out and see what else they can do. I was about to get them to 1800mhz using 9-9-9-24 timings with the same 1.6v. over 1000% test with memtest for windows. Very impressive.

Cons: Not much to say here. Could be cheaper?

Other Thoughts: System spec:
- Silverstone Fortress TR02
- MSI x58m mobo
- i7 920 @ 3.6ghz using 1.22v
- 2 x 36gb raptor drives in raid 0 for os (win 7 64bit)
- 1 x 500gb seagate 7200.12 hard drive for games
- 1 x 1tb wd green drive for storage
- xfx 5770 graphics card
- Corsair 520hx psu

5 out of 5 eggsTotally Uneventful... just how I like it!

Pros: Part of a new build, installation was totally uneventful - the way it should be. I don't OC so I can't testify to its full capabilities, but if I decide to double and go to 8GB, I won't think twice about getting this again.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great

Pros: Easy setup, works as advertised at rated speed and then some.

I just built an PC using an i7-860 on an Asus P7P55D Deluxe Motherboard. I had originally installed 8GB of OCZ Gold CL8 memory (OCZ3G1600LV4GK) and was unable to get it to run without failing stress testing even at rated 8-8-8-24 timings. I exchanged it for 8GB of this CL7 rated memory and it worked great immediately at rated 1600 7-7-7-24 timings without any Overclocking of the MB.

I then O/C the MB from 2.8 to 3.6GHz and set the memory timings to 1600 7-7-7-23 and it is passing all forms of stress testing for hours without a single glitch. I am running the memory voltage at the default 1.65V. I am pleased that I am getting reliable CL7 performance with 4 sticks installed.

Cons: Pain in the ___ rebate process.

Other Thoughts: BTW, when you are building an O/C system and have trouble with blue screens and lockups at low to moderate overclocking, don't hesitate to think your hardware might be defective. I was having random lockups and B/S with very relaxed memory timings using only two sticks at a time and finally exchanged the CPU & MB to immediately find a massive improvement. Where I was getting multiple daily lockups & blue screens at a measly 3.2GHZ overclock, with the new MB & CPU I was using the same voltage settings at 3.6GHz and it has been rock solid for a week. Then I added the new memory (all four sticks) and pushed the timings to the rated specs and I am finally happy with my new build. I have no need or desire to push it any harder.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Ram

Pros: I have the AMD edition of this Ram which has exactly the same specs. Now running 4 sticks (8 Gb) on a Gigabyte AM3 UD5P mainboard at 1600 MHz and 7-7-7-24 timings.

Cons: None other than the fact that I had to go elsewhare to buy this ram. I also would like the Black Edition of this ram which, again has exactly the same specs., so I can have the advanced AOD features

Other Thoughts: Processor: AMD 965, 125 Watt
Memory: 4 sticks 3P1600LVAM4GK
Mainboard: Gigabyte GA-MA790FXT-UD5P
Video: Two GigabyteGV-RU489OC in crossfire
PS: Corsair 850-TX
Case: Antec 900
