Cons: this is junk had to rma the initial set and they ran for a year after messing with all the bios settings for weeks. then they just died this is my third set and it wont even post. contacted ocz for a refund they said new egg was responcible for issueing a refund. 158 dollars of garbage

Pros: Great RAM, ran without issues. Could do more with OC but my processor can't take much more speed until I get a Phenom.

Cons: Was far more expensive when I got it, but prices have dropped for all RAM. I wish these were still around.

Other Thoughts: When I got this pair of DRAM modules, I plugged them, cleared BIOS (no overclocking at all!), adjusted DRAM voltage, tested with MemTest86+ and saw memory errors. Then tested every module individually and found only one was faulty. Tried to increase timings a lot and decreasing frequency to a minimum but it didn't help. That's not good but this happens.

I wanted OCZ's advanced RMA to get a replacement ASAP so I opened a ticket with OCZ at 5AM PST with all the information I had and no one called me that day. I called them next morning and was told a technician would definitely call me but no one did. Meaning no one cared to do anything for 2 FULL business days.

So I went ahead with Newegg's RMA, put my parcel to a drop box, came home, and found an email from OCZ. And you know what? That guy asked things they were in the ticket like my CPU and motherboard and recommended troubleshooting steps I'd already performed and reported. Looked like he didn't even bother to read the ticket.

Pros: Ive ran this memory 2 years ago. bought some recently to upgrade my system to 8gb. works great, no problem when booting up, works seamlessly. cant go wrong with the pricing.

Cons: None that comes to mind

Pros: Excellent price for 2x2GB
Runs at 1600 with some settings
Very stable when it boots
Runs fine at 1600MHz, 9-9-9-26 @1.67V

Cons: Did not boot Win7 Ultimate x64 at 10-10-10-24-27 @1.644V in a MSI 890GXM-G55, but expected to need at least 1.65V so it still gets 5 eggs.

Other Thoughts: Did not consistently POST or boot at 1.644V, but with 1.7V works fine at 1600. Have tested to 9-9-9-26 which is stable, will try lower settings and post another review if I turn up anything interesting, or if a stick burns out.
SPD gives timings for 1066MHz (7-7-7-16), will NOT boot at 1600 with stock SPD timings.
Running this alongside a 2GB stick of OCZ SpecOps DDR3-1600.

Pros: I've got it running stable @ 1666

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: a little expensive but it's still good!

Pros: All I this is a great product. No issues , I work as expected and it worked out of box.

Pros: Runs at advertised speeds... sorta. Passes Memtest like a breeze.

Cons: After first getting the timings right it worked great with my Ubuntu installation. Since buying and switching over to Windows 7 though, I've had nothing but problems. Any game I went into (LoL, L4D, and even some free MMOs with cheesy graphics) would always crash in 15-45 minutes, and usually bring the whole system to a BSOD. I troubleshooted and ended up replacing both my graphics card and PSU but still having the same problem.

Every once in awhile it will crash Google Chrome or Windows Aero. The BSODs are somewhat revealing, and while the errors range quite a bit, Technet will always say that the cause could be bad RAM.

Other Thoughts: Had to set the timings manually at first, not really a big deal though.

When I bought this, it was easily 50-100 less than anything else of similar size and speed. That's not really the case anymore. Go ahead and spend the 5-10 bucks more and get something more reliable that also has better timings.

Pros: none, waste of time and effort. There are other brands to buy.

Cons: it just don't run at 1600. Spent days working with a (P55) gigabyte board, MSI board (880GM) and MSI (H55). Best stable speed I could get with any of them was 1333(Memtest showed tons of errors on anything over 1066).

Other Thoughts: G.Skill, Corsair and Kingston memory worked in all the boards with no prolbems @ speeds, 1600 and up. Its never the memory thats bad just us buyers that don't know what we are doing..but, we did buy OCZ memory so they might be somewhat right!

Pros: Price

Cons: Received 4, 1 was bad out of the pack and steadily the rest have burnt out. this was not Over Clocked, in fact they were under clocked due to the inability to even reach or run at there spec speed. And to top it off when the last one burnt out it fried a memory slot on my Motherboard. when i called asus to rma my board the said 90 % of the memory issues they receive are due to OCZ memory.

Other Thoughts: Spend the money Get some Corsair Dominator GT.
