Pros: very high speed. bought 2 of this and put them in raid 0.
Windows was flying.

Cons: after 1 year of use my pc started giving me blue screens after every wake up from sleep mode. the blue screens show up and hide so fast so i couldn't see the error number. but now when one of ssd totally not visible to bios i install os on 1 ssd and have no more blue screens. and right now instead of 180 gig of disc C i have only 90gig..... also i have non working ssd instead of my 369$ in the pocket

Pros: FAST IF NOT FROZEN

Cons: MY FIRST DRIVE BRICKED AFTER A MONTH.

MY SECOND DRIVE REPLACED BY NEWEGG AND BRICKED IN A BIT LESS THAN A YEAR.

WILL NEVER BUY OCZ PRODUCT EVER AGAIN!

Other Thoughts: I am a computer tech with 10 years experience. I never saw such an unreliable pc product in my entire life. These products should be banned to even make it to the market. They are rip offs like pretty much everything being produced in china today. We pay good sums of money for these products. If you buy cheap it is ok to pay cheap. But I paid over $300 for a hard drive that ended up breaking twice and loosing my data everytime in the processs.

Pros: Worked like a champ for a year without issues. Now is another story

Cons: November the drive locked up and would not work. Finally got help used Secure Erase and rebuilt machine in November, crashed again last night, and now I have to restore the system. Rebuilt the drive this morning system locks back up. OCZ fails here, and my other SSD drive is now my primary and this drive is going in the trash unless they can figure out what is wrong.

Other Thoughts: Last OCZ product I will buy or recommend, too many issues. Limited Edition seems to mean lots of problems.

Pros: Drive worked great for a year then.....

Cons: Drive had issues in November contacted support, they were excellent walked me through SecureErase and brought the drive back online. Restored data all was good. Now the same issue haunts me again. This time waiting for support to tell me what is up, in the mean time ordering another brand. Really not a fan of rebuilding my Windows machine every 4 months.

Other Thoughts: This was my first foray into the SSD world on the recommendation of a friend, now I am trying different brands as the constant lock ups and rebuilding have worn me out to the OCZ brand.

Pros: Very fast drive: benched 271mb read and 286 write on ATTO. Did a regular fdisk format and deleted many gigabytes of data and the drive maintained its speed, unlike some competing brands that claim to utilize the Trim command.

Cons: Expensive for the small capacity; also drive does not respond normally to the secure erase command I use on other SSD drives to refresh them, probably because the illinix based controller on this drive reserves encrypted space.

Pros: none - tossed the SUMMIT drive in the trash and will change brands.
To OCZ - thanks for the offer but I've wasted enough time and money with your SSD. This is the third time I got a response here declaring "we will take care of you"

Cons: buying first generation - bad idea

Other Thoughts: there are other companies putting out trouble free Sandforce SSD

Pros: none

Cons: the Manufacturer Response is "hot air". No one ever contacted me or took care of me. The LE drives cost a great deal of time and money, with shipping charges to RMA adding insult to injury.
Last week a OCZ Summit drive died on me and I tossed it in the trash. I don't have a month to wait for a new drive that will fail again. Switching brands is the answer.

Other Thoughts: working replacement drives for the first two LE100"s took over two months to resolve. This "you will be taken care of" statement from OCZ is insulting - I was never contacted by OCZ. I see this over and over in the reviews.

Cons: THIS DRIVE WAS PUSHED TO MARKET PREMATURELY AT THE EXPENSE OF CONSUMERS - WASTED TIME LOADING OPERATING SYSTEM ETC

Other Thoughts: SUBMITTED RMA TWICE TO GET A RESPONSE FOR DEAD LE'S AND HAD NO RESPONSE AT ALL RECENTLY TO TWO RMA REQUESTS FOR A SUMMIT DRIVE.
THIS IS BAD BUSINESS.

Pros: Fast. insane read and write speeds...when it works

Cons: Is it my bad luck? Two faulty drives? Two clean installs of windows 7, both time the OS disappeared and would not boot.

Other Thoughts: I really don't want to go through RMA proccess AGAIN...there is NO refund for this product. So if you have problems like me you're stuck with a $325 brick or spending 10$ to ship the drive every couple weeks to newegg for a replacement.

although as a side note, newegg has shipped the drive and replacement very fast.

Pros: I purchased two in April for a Raid-0 configuration. They were extremely fast with Writes over 400Mbps and a peak Reads approaching 500Mbps.

Cons: Beginning a week later one of the drives lost it's data. All was well after a reformat until a week later, then it lost it's data again. Eventually the drive failed completely and I returned it to OCZ for an approved RMA.

OCZ received my drive on 7/26, but still hasn't sent a replacement RMA unit out.

Other Thoughts: Fast drive and OCZ has been responsive to my trouble tickets - but the entire RMA process is taking so long it's approaching unacceptable levels.
