2 out of 5 eggsI should have known they were the culprit!!!

Pros: Price

Cons: were the issue staring a few months after building my I7 EVGA P55 Classified 200 system turns out I had to drop the voltage quite a bit below their rated specs of 1.65 to run stable!! I have it at 1.55 any higher and blue screens hell!!!! after all these years I thought it was the motherboard!!! I'm a Dumb Donkey!! but after some recent research it looks like a lot of others have the same issue with them in P55 boards so it's partly all P55's and this memory but they are supposed to work but are kind of like trying to mix oil and water its possible but you have to try real hard but they wont stay that way for long, I know its a dumb comparison but I am so aggravated with the system and the thousands I spent on it to find there is a reason OCZ got out of making memory if you are look to build a P55 system get the 1600 chips and save yourself some headaches and don't but these the 1600 OCZ's might work if you can find them but people are price gouging on P55 parts some up to 10x the original cost like $900.00 for the I7 860 I have and it never retailed anywhere near that price, I might just throw the guts in the computer museum I have in my basement and upgrade to a newer Generation system since all I need to buy is a MB, CPU, and memory??? Good luck.

Other Thoughts: I doubt anyone will read this since it's not available anymore and OCZ is out of the memory market but I thought it might help someone having issues with their P55 system?

5 out of 5 eggsGreat memory very stable

Pros: No issues so far I have 4 sticks = 16 gb with a I7

Cons: no longer avalable OCZ said they are getting out of the memory market? this is the second time I purchaced there ram the first time it was DDR2 for a XFX mobo with a core 2 quad I gave to my son when he finished boot camp I wish I still had it! it was more stable than what I upgraded too.

5 out of 5 eggsGood stuff

Pros: Plummeting prices plus advertised 15% discount, reliable brand, works perfectly.

Cons: None. Not sure this is a 'con' issue, but these chips have latency specs of 9-9-9-20 clock cycles, whereas the OCZ Platinum 1333MHz low voltage DDR3 2GB chips are 7-7-7-20. I was unsure whether the additional clock cycles would adversely affect performance, but as noted below, overall performance is decidedly enhanced.

Other Thoughts: I purchased 4x4GB to replace the 4x2GB previously installed in my P55 chipset LGA 1156 Gigabyte MB. 16GB is the maximum memory supported by this MB. I wasn't sure whether added memory would significantly improve performance, and am pleased to report that overall performance is decidedly snappier.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Deal

Pros: I was suprised to find how inexpensive adding 8G of RAM to my computer was. I did a quick browse, and I was buying these within minutes. I was not disappointed.

Cons: I have yet to utilize all 12G of RAM my computer has available? These are the good kind of problems to have...

Other Thoughts: Low Voltage means that the RAM can be used with i5 and i7 processors, whose motherboards typically come with warnings recommending RAM not be rated over 1.65V. These will preform identically to higher-voltage RAM, but they require less power. In other words, "Low Voltage" is a good thing, not a bad thing.

5 out of 5 eggsThey Work

Pros: Work
fast
pretty

Cons: non really wish m/b could accept faster ram.

Other Thoughts: Please note that when I dropped the ram in the m/b and it was picked up and worked, windows installed though once installed the pc would randomly crashed. After doing some research on the bios turns out the ram was at 1.45 volts thus i had to change it to 1.64v to get it run with out issues. Since then the pca has run with issues with an i5 at 3.0Ghz from 2.66Ghz

4 out of 5 eggsGood memory...

Pros: Pros - inserted directly into ASUS M4A785TD-M motherboard and worked perfectly with no issues. Zero problems found with memory diagnostic.

Cons: Cons....four days after buying the memory (from Newegg), the price dropped 12 bucks. Really, now, there should be a short period where prices are retroactive...not a big deal, but frustrating given I waited 7 months to add another 8 gigs to the system.

Other Thoughts: OCZ memory has been great for me...this computer now has 16 gigs of this memory, and it functions fantastically well. 7.5 on WEI for my memory score both at 8 gigs and now after adding another 8 to the system.

2 out of 5 eggsOne stick DOA

Pros: The one stick that did work, is working fantasticly.. sadly Per their RMA process I have to give them both of the sticks in order to get a replacement... Meaning Im stuck without a computer for some time( hopefully their RMA

Cons: sadly Per their RMA process I have to give them both of the sticks in order to get a replacement... Meaning Im stuck without a computer for some time. And who knows how long their RMA service takes... we'll see
