TRIM Support The OCZ Agility 3 offers native TRIM support featured in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2. Designed to maintain the performance of SSD at an optimal level over the lifetime of the drive, TRIM functions by actively deleting invalid data from the SSD’s memory cells to ensure that write operations perform at full speed. Since a memory block must be erased before it can be re-programmed, TRIM improves performance by pro-actively erasing pages containing invalid data, allowing the SSD to write new data without first having to perform a time-consuming erase command.
S.M.A.R.T. Technology The OCZ Agility 3 adopts Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology (S.M.A.R.T.) which enables the PC to predict the future failure of hard disk drives. Through the SMART system, hard disk drives incorporate a suite of advanced diagnostics that monitor the internal operations of a drive and provide an early warning for many types of potential problems. When a potential problem is detected, the hard drive can be repaired or replaced before any data is lost or damaged.

Works just as fast when its full compared to when its empty, I have it as a steam game drive. Cons: Wish I could get it again for the same price. Other Thoughts: Overall I have had 5 OCZ SSD's of varying capacities and all of them are still working to this day. People who blow off OCZ cause of a few bad reviews without trying it themselves, are only cheating themselves. Remember people, more people leave reviews when a product doesn't work compared to when it does. I purposely held off till this reached the 1 year point so i could do a long term review. No problems with that. Fast boot Times, No boot issues. UNTIL... Cons: 6 months, drive just goes offline. System can't find it. But the system can't find it real fast! Other Thoughts: I only had boot data on this drive no users files or music and such. I kept static data for fast boot and load times of games and applications. I have another system that uses an Intel SSD and a DELL 1521 is using an ADATA SSD no failures those system do not have hard drives for users files. Live and Learn.... As for the RMA process not as fast or as easy as the install.. It seems to be a bit offline. Sen 3/23/2013 1:06:38 PM Tech Level: 4/5 Ownership: 4/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 2/5TWO bad SSDs in a row Pros: It does boot fast, and OCZ has replaced the SSD...twice. Cons: I've NEVER felt the need to post a review before, but then again, I've never received TWO pieces of bad hardware from the same vendor...in a row. The first SSD BSOD'ed my rig, and was never again recognized by the BIOS. The second one BSOD'ed again, but continued to work. During the post-BSOD investigation, I learned from the OCZ forum, that this drive is bad too (based on SMART data), and should be RMA'd. I am planning on RMA'ing this one, then selling the OCZ I get as a replacement, and buying a better brand. It may cost a whole bunch more, but I'm getting tired of rebuilding my system every other weekend. Other Thoughts: I can't necessarily complain about OCZ's service, they did replace both SSDs, even if it was after several go arounds of "try this", "try that". Besides, RMA'ing a SSD, then having no computer until you get the replacement isn't exactly convenient. Cons: I was a bit dissapointed with the name of the product. When I recieved it I expected for it to be able to evade my attacks... but it did not. Instead it just sat there and took a beating. I don't think "Agility" was the word OCZ was looking for when they marketed this product. Cons: First disk died after 3 months of use; I thought maybe it was just me. The second one just die after 6 months of use. I have a 120GB version of this disk (in a Windows 7 laptop) and a 90GB version in an enclosure. They've seemed more reliable, but I'll make sure anything on either is either disposable or backed up.
