Cons: Instead of being an SSD this is a paper weight. You can also use it as a sinker if your fishing.

Pros: Very Fast when its working.

Cons: Complete Junk. First one lasted a good 2-3 months and failed with no notice. Sent it back for replacment on my own dime and that one failed after aproximitly a week. I will not be sending this one back im just done with it, what a nightmare.I loved OCZ SSD's untill now. I am now a Samsung guy because of this.

Pros: Right out of the box, I didn't have any firmware problems. That's refreshing after the nightmare that was the Vertex/Agility 3 and 4 series. Windows installed insanely quickly and the boot speed is as good or better than the other 5 SSDs I usually use for builds. The responsiveness of everything in Windows was very impressive.

Cons: This drive is much heaver than a Samsung 840 series, at least 4x, but still fairly light. I don't think it weighs more than a standard mechanical laptop drive and certainly less than a desktop hard drive.

Yet again, the speeds aren't quite what OCZ claims but they're still VERY fast.

The OCZ Toolbox software is nowhere near as extensive, flexible, and feature-heavy as Samsung's Genie software and their bootable version is very glitchy and rarely works.

Other Thoughts: I did buy this several months after release though so who knows what the initial firmware was like. I would think most negative reviews were people who got the originals and didn't flash them with OCZ Toolbox, which everyone should do to any OCZ SSD regardless.

Pros: No issues....fast. Great support and info on OCZ forums.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have a Vertex 1 that is probably about 3 years old and is still running strong as my root drive. I bought the Vector as my second drive and it's awsome. My co worker bought a Samsung SSD drive and his broke after a month...glad I stuck with OCZ.

Pros: Boots Windows 8 to metro screen in under 8-10 seconds
Very fast read and write speeds

Cons: No problems yet

Pros: When it worked, it was extremely fast.

Cons: Being extremely fast is useless if the drive eats it after 6 months. All the reviews for this drive were very positive when I bought it. Now that mine has died, I've come back and found a TON of reviews stating their drive has failed, and several stating their replacements have failed. OCZ can make whatever false claims about the reliability of the drive they want, the negative reviews of actual consumers are proving them wrong. I am one of those customers. I do not want a replacement drive, and I do not want to buy OCZ again. Terrible experience.

Other Thoughts: DO NOT BUY OCZ.

Pros: Fast storage of information and quick start up if the OS is stored on this SSD.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I wish I would have purchased a large SSD because it has been a little over a month with this SSD and it is almost full.

Pros: Was fast.
Worked flawlessly for about 2 months.

Cons: Failed after 2 months, lost everything i had on there. OCZ has an absolutely terrible RMA process, when you contact customer support they seem really rude and poorly trained. After doing research it seems these drives tend to die 1-3 months after you start using them. OCZ of course denies that theres a problem with these drives. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Pros: Drive performance seems excellent. Packaging and included hardware are simple but work.

Cons: Ordered 2 drives. Had issues with RAID setup and fought with what I thought was a compatibility issue for days. Updated board BIOS, SSD firmware, tried everything. Days later I am continuing to partition failure and operate drive without RAID. One of the drives is recognized by BIOS but not Windows. Linux sees it but installation fails at reboot. I swapped cables, sata ports, power supplies. Everything points to a defective drive.

RMA after DAYS of headaches... Should have gotten Intel 520 series. Have had good luck with these.
