TRIM Support The OCZ Agility 3 offers native TRIM support featured in Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2. Designed to maintain the performance of SSD at an optimal level over the lifetime of the drive, TRIM functions by actively deleting invalid data from the SSD’s memory cells to ensure that write operations perform at full speed. Since a memory block must be erased before it can be re-programmed, TRIM improves performance by pro-actively erasing pages containing invalid data, allowing the SSD to write new data without first having to perform a time-consuming erase command.
S.M.A.R.T. technology The OCZ Agility 3 adopts Self-Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology (S.M.A.R.T.) which enables the PC to predict the future failure of hard disk drives. Through the SMART system, hard disk drives incorporate a suite of advanced diagnostics that monitor the internal operations of a drive and provide an early warning for many types of potential problems. When a potential problem is detected, the hard drive can be repaired or replaced before any data is lost or damaged.
ECC Recovery Designed with the file verification and repair tool- ECC Recovery, OCZ Agility 3 provides up to 55 bits correctable per 512-byte sector (BCH), protecting your important files and sensitive data against digital corruption by using Reed-Solomon codes.

Case is too thick to fit in my Ultrabook. Died after 2 weeks of less than average use. Other Thoughts: Hope New Egg can replace this one quickly. Pros: Cheep, fast as it needs to be, great for gaming etc.. Cons: Was using this drive for my gaming drive/Bfbc2 Nexus server, lost all my games and server files in a flat second due to the drive deciding to quit mid game. Red light on ssd came on and after that it was unrecognizable in any instance. RMA excepted.. Other Thoughts: Great performing drive, keep package just in case.. Did you find this review helpful? I give newegg 0 eggs. newegg is the worlds worst company there is. They will lie to you jack you around and be very rude about it. I would give the experience no eggs but newegg dosent want to be reviewed and to be fair this drive is great. Cons: newegg is the worst company in the world. they lie cheat jack you around. I do not feel the great price or drive where even close to being worth what I was put through by newegg. Other Thoughts: Love the drive hate what I was put through to get it. Well, they ran out of replacements, and then I could only get store credit. So I got the credit, but I already bought another drive, and the credit will be sitting around for a long time. Its just a hassle with these refurbs, and there is a reason they are called refurbished - like they were previously returned for problems. The one I returned will likely get resold. I like Newegg and am negotiating with them to see if I can get a refund instead of credit, and they are clear on their policy. its just I don't think the refurbished items are in the long run worth saving a few bucks on. I was on a budget for a new system and these fit the bill. I had a PCI-e SSD from OCZ in my previous machine so I trusted the brand. Cons: Bought two, one died after a week. I lived with just the one till the replacement came. Now my RAID 0 seems very stable. Other Thoughts: I hope these last a long time. Did someone benchmark this thing until it died originally? Worked for about an hour as I checked out the SMART data, then it "panic locked" itself and no longer shows up.
