Pros: OCZ RMA'd it for me, turned around the RMA quickly and the replacement drive works wonderfully. I've been hammering it heavily for a week with no issues (analytics database). N/A 3/12/2013 1:16:21 PM Tech Level: 3/5 Ownership: 3/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 2/5not a good time Pros: its a nice drive looks great the lights are a big help to let you know there is a problem with it when the first one did work it was really really fast to bad it did not last Cons: it is Refurbished went though 2 of them in 3 weeks it showed all four drive . then started to load win 7 and it froze up rebooted and when it got to the raid window it showed only 3 drives. started to see if I could load on to the 3 and it locked up only 1 drive showed up now so I am giving up on the refurb Other Thoughts: new egg was great at sending the first one back had to RMA it sent me a return label and the 2nd one was easy to send back again they sent me a return label and I ask if I could get store credit they gave it to me 5 eggs for new egg this is why I like to use the egg Manufacturer Response: Dear Anonymous, I am sorry to read about your experience with RevoDrive. Cons: Mine is only showing 3 Drives of 51GB each. 153GB is not the advertised 220GB. I don't have a problem with it showing 220GB in the RAID controller and then windows only showing 200GBs after it has been formatted or something like that... There is size that is given away to formatting... But to not show anywhere close to the selling number is just not good for business. Other Thoughts: I'm going to try and update the firmware and see if all 4 51GB drives show... but I'm not going to get my hopes up... First 2 drives show up immediately... Windows 7 runs but I am having problems. The drive is 4 X 51 GB RAID 0 - Windows sees 204 GB not the 220 advertised. I am using a ASUS Rampage IV Extreme mobo with an I7 Extreme uP = problem with this RevoDrive X2. Consult OCZ support forums before buying. Other Thoughts: I own a 240 GB OCZ RevoDrive 3 X2 and it is wonderful !! However, it costs 4X more. I am going to try it with my Extreme mobo & uP and see what happens. Killerrr 3/6/2013 7:49:59 AM Tech Level: 4/5 Ownership: 4/5 Verified Owner	Rating: 3/5Weird Pros: Solid drive, plugged into the PCI slot Cons: Really hard to setup, it is a raid card with 4 51GB partitions, had to spend several hours to figure out how to get it to use all of the drive as one. The Newegg shipping, fast out of the gate, but would like a choice of shippers when upgrading to 3 day option. Very poor decision to change shipping rules. Loosing faith in Newegg because of this. Cons: I installed the drive and after 10-15 minutes, the red light came on and the drive bricked. This happened several times, I was about to RMA it. After reading about heat sensitivity issues, I dug up a fan and pointed it directly at the drive. For three days now, it has worked perfectly. It boots up to the firmware and just sits there until it comes back with "no such device" and continues on. Kind of expected it based on the other reviews but couldn't pass up the price. Cons: First of all let me state OCZ is going out of business! Second the 1st time I bought I attempted to place window on the revodrv and the drive was faulty, so it was RMAed second time windows did not install same faulty hardware . This hardware is not suitable for any1 it may be due to the fact it was refurbished but idk Other Thoughts: I am going to ask to purchase different items for instore credit and free shipping I have bought more than $500 from newegg if they do not give me this I will no longer purchase from newegg as I will asume the service is as bad as the refurbished articles they ship!
