Pros: Had none of the boot issues described in another post about OCZ Revo drives. After 6 months of ownership, I would still recommend this product to anyone considering to upgrade their system. It offers a noticeable improvement from the currently available SATA-3 SSDs. In the meantime, OCZ have issued a new driver for the unit. The unit has performed flawlessly.

Cons: No cons that I know of.

Other Thoughts: I am operating the Revo drive on a Windows 7 pro system with 16 Gb of RAM (1866 Mhz) and a water-cooled 8-core AMD FX-9590. Currently, the 240 Gb drive has about 223 Gb effective storage space, of which 118 Gb is in use. System is still very responsive and great for handling large database applications. The motherboard is installed in a Cooler Master tower case with 3 x 120 mm speed-controlled case fans providing sufficient cross flow ventilation.

Pros: Works as advertized. This 240 Gb revodrive was an upgrade from the OCZ Revo 2 series of 110 Gb. The older model boasted a read speed of approx. 500 Mb/s, the new model close to 1Gb/s. In Windows 7, the difference is particularly noticeable when opening a great number of files simultaneously. The drivers were easily installed.

Cons: Requires a hi speed pcie-slot. Does not work with sata connections. Takes a little longer to boot compared to the older revodrive.

Other Thoughts: You never have too much write speed.
Windows installation failed a few times.
My advice is to copy the supplied driver (provided on mini cd rom) to a flash drive. My installation failed several times because I had to remove the Windows 7 CD Rom from the slot in exchange for the driver cd rom. After I reinserted the Windows disk, the installation process was halted because of it. When the driver is on the flash drive Windows easily recognizes it and installs it immediately without a hitch.

Pros: Pretty fast, good looking.

Cons: Unreliable, causes computer to crash, runs very hot, costs way too much for what you get.

Other Thoughts: I would go with something else.
