First 2G DIMMs to reach price parity with 1G DIMMs

Pros: Price/gigabyte is the same as comparable 1G DIMMs.

Cons: High CAS latency.

Other Thoughts: I'm using them with an Abit AB9 Pro with an E6700 Core2 Duo. The DIMMs plugged and played with this card, I haven't had any reliablity problems with the default SPD settings. I haven't tried any more aggressive settings yet so I don't know how much margin they have.

Pros: This product is compatible with the Gigabyte GA-965G-DS3 even though it is not listed on Gigabyte's website. I had no problem installing Server 2003 x64 - detected 4GB without issue.

Pros: I'll have to leave this until I get some that operates properly.

Cons: Arrived, installed, BSOD, Memtestx86 - failed on both sticks.

Other Thoughts: Qaulity inspectors doing their jobs? I don't think so.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Please check your memory settings in BIOS to make sure that everything is set properly. Many times the motherboard may not pick up the correct settings, as a result, it can cause instability like you have experienced. Once the memory is properly configured, you should have no issues passing tests such as memtest. The memory package you purchased requires a memory voltage of 1.90V compared to the default 1.80V, so make sure that is set otherwise it can cause errors in memtest. Pros: This was the cheapest price I could find for 4 gigs of DDR2 800 ram, and it works great. don't waste your money on kingston or other expensive brands that do the same thing.

Cons: none so far.

Other Thoughts: I proudly stuck the g.skill sticker that came with the ram on the front of my case.
