Good Memory Kit

Pros: Inexpensive. Well made. Heatsinks a nice touch. They look pretty.

Cons: 4-4-4-12 timings not automatically detected by motherboard.

Other Thoughts: I ordered this kit and promptly receicved it. The kit is well packaged and actuall quite nice looking.

After installation, a peak into the bios showed the RAM modules defaulting to a 5-5-5-12 timings.

I had to manually change them to 4-4-4-12 which was no big deal.

If you have a mainstream retail box like HP who locks most of these bios settings, you will be stuck at 5-5-5-12 timings.

Pros: Bought two sets for a total of 8GB's for my office Dell Precision 390. Very reliable, and rock solid.

Pros: This works amazingly well. The speed of my computer shot up by leaps and bounds. The heat spreader look amazing. Games run much, much faster. I will be buying g.skill from now on. Shipped fast.

Cons: None. This is hands down the best ram i've ever used. My only complaint would be I didn't get the racecar sticker other people say they've gotten.

Other Thoughts: I've only owned it for a day, but so far, the improvement has been vast. Thanks, g.skill!

Pros: I have had this RAM for a couple of weeks now. It runs perfectly! No trouble at all with it so far. My computer runs much faster now and online gaming isn't as laggy.

Cons: None so far.

Pros: Impressive right off the bat both visually and functionally. I've used MANY different ram mfrs. over the years, and am no fanboy of any company. Let me say that I will never buy anything but G.Skill from now on. It looks very, very, nice and is obv. high quality. I put it in, fired up box, timing recog. in BIOS. Nvidia tools also recog. Works beautifully in Vista and Win7 (x64 flavors). My computer defintely runs faster and more efficiently because of this ram upgrade.

Cons: None i found.

Other Thoughts: I recommend to people who wish to have nice, high-quality merchandise. I have 4 ram slots. I removed my 4x1GB sticks and put in two stix of this. I bought one kit in case i didnt like it. I just bought the other two stix...I cant wait till they get here! Thanks!
