G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-6400CL5D-4GBPQ

Pros: I just put this in my old Compaq SR2032x, which is only supposed to support 2 GB's of DDR2 667, and it works like a charm.

I also put an Athlon X2 6000+ in the same machine a few hours later. The two combined are a HUGE improvement.

Windows Experience Index rates this ram at 6.9 in my system.

Not bad for a motherboard built in 2005!

Cons: None.

Pros: Works in EVGA 680i. Solid quality. Decent price.

Cons: Old memory is about the only computer tech that gets more expensive with time...

Other Thoughts: Replaced dying Corsair Dominator with 4 more gigs of this bringing my EVGA 680i board to full capacity with 8GB. Solid as a rock at 800Mhz and WEI went up two tenths of a point. This matched the sticks I got over a year ago and it's like they were purchased together. Couldn't be happier with G-Skill RAM for extending the life of my aging gaming PC.

Pros: Instant boost in performance, It can handle a lot. I love G.Skill.

Cons: I haven't had a single problem with at all.

Other Thoughts: I want to jump up to 8GB.

Pros: There are no advantages if the RAM is incompatible.

Cons: -This RAM would not even POST with a standard Dell desktop. This is the 2nd time I have experienced incompatibility issues with G.Skill RAM.
-Poor website.

Other Thoughts: I've been a professional in the tech industry 20 years, and I will never use G.Skill again. The incompatibility rate is just too high. If you want compatible RAM, go with Crucial.

Pros: Compatible with numerous older Dell models, including Optiplex GX620, Dimension E310/3100, Studio 540s and Vostro 220s. Attractive heat spreaders that protect the chips. Stable.

Cons: It's going up in price.

Other Thoughts: This is a good choice for upgrading an older DDR2 Dell for Windows 7 or 8.

Pros: Have had the same pair running for 3+ years. Decided to upgrade to 8GB ram so I bought another pair. Working great!

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Ran memtest86 on my pair of 3 year old G.SKILL ram and it passes no problem. New pair also passes.

Pros: Installed, been running for a year now, no problems except my system has 64 bit processor, with a 32 bit OS So not seeing all the memory, but I knew that would be the result.

Cons: None I can think of. been running the memory for almost a year now, no troubles.

Pros: I have owned these babies for over 3 yrs with no issues. Still a good as the day I bought them. They were by first set from G.Skill and I haven't looked back since. I have now bought several kits including some of their top DDR3 kits and I have been more than pleased. Price+Quality+Warranty+Great Looks. What more can you ask for

Pros: Good ram runs stock speed that is all I am after. I`ve been out of the overclocking game for alot of years now

Pros: Brought my system from 2gb to 4gb for Win 7 upgrade and worked great!
