5 out of 5 eggsNon sequential pairs, paired fine

Pros: Bought two individual sticks instead of paying the extra bucks for "matching" pairs, whatever that means. Serial numbers skipped over one number, but these worked fine together and matched up as dual channel.

Cons: Seems strange they didn't just send me the next two sticks, instead of skipping over one in the serial number series.

Other Thoughts: Brings my Win 7 64bit system to 4GB RAM, and works flawlessly.

4 out of 5 eggsFew Days

Pros: Plugged in and away it went. Bumped up the speed of the computer, but not as much as expected. I have it pretty 'sleeked out' already though.

Cons: Casing made it a little tricky on getting it inserted without having to push to hard down on the MB. No place to get your fingers in, but that could be the MB slot spaces.

Dear Customer

Thank you for your G.Skill purchase and review. Glad to hear the memory is working well in your computer. This memory is above standard, so make sure to configure settings in BIOS. If you do not, the memory will not operate at its performance capabilities. This is a high performance memory kit, so you should be satisfied with the result. With regards to installation, you can press down directly on the heat sink. It can be inserted the same way as any other memory module, just make sure it is firmly inserted into the slot. For any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us directly.

Thank you

4 out of 5 eggsit is ram

Pros: it works at the speed it is listed.
runs that speed at 1.9v
clocks ok(533mhz-1066mhz)
doesn't error out at lower speeds and timings ^.^

Cons: its only 1gb or ddr2
compared to ddr3 the price sucks(its not Neweggs fault or any other.. dd2 is just way over priced still)
if it would have been 2gbs for $20, it would have been a perfect deal.
but 1gb= one egg knock off

Other Thoughts: good ram, good speed, but DDR2 is still way to over priced. :/
but that being said if you are looking to overclock ur cpu this ram will give you the long strapping options. Right now I am running e7200 @ 3.8ghz and the ram is at stock clocks. 400fsb+1066mhz ram = YAY i am not voiding the warranty on my ram and not having to worry about burning it out ^.^(also got the timing down to 4,4,4, 15 with out voltage increase)

Dear Customer

Thank you for your G.Skill purchase and review. Glad to hear the memory is fast and stable in your computer. This is a basic overclocking memory module, but it is capable of very good results. Unfortunately, performance DDR2 is becoming very rare, so price will reflect that. World DRAM prices fluctuate on a daily basis, so that is the indicator we must follow. We wish global pricing was lower, but we can not control it. If you compare to other brands, G.Skill memory will have the best performance at the lowest pricing, so it is a winning situation. For any further questions or issues, please feel free to contact us directly.

5 out of 5 eggsLove 'em!

Pros: Cheap and have worked without a hitch for over three years.

Cons: Nothing.

Other Thoughts: Bought three of them in January of '09 to put in my gaming rig. Did a memtest recently and they all passed. They are still going strong and I have no plans to replace them until I build a new computer. Will almost certainly buy G.SKILL in the future.

5 out of 5 eggsPlug and Go

Pros: Can't beat something that you can plug right in and your motherboard recognizes it.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I bought the dual memory of these a few years back and wanted to add some speed, so just grabbed a single to help boost the system and it does wonders for it. I don't overclock my systems so couldn't inform you on how well these are to oc. For me, my motto for computers components is, if they didn't make it that way to sell than they really couldn't stabilize it at a higher speed, cause if they could, they would release it and we would be paying more for the item.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Pros: I put these in my sons computer and they have been running since 09'. He has only 2GB on Windows 7 and can play all of the COD series and Battlefield series games.

Cons: None. I bought them for a great price even in Dec 09.

5 out of 5 eggsWorked

Pros: Worked out of the package without issue.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Purchased to replace a bad stick from the 2GB set, didn't want to wait for RMA. G.Skill did eventually come through with RMA, now I have an extra...

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect so far

Pros: Has worked for over a year now. I started with two, bought another one then another. Now I have 4x1 DDR2 1066 @ 1104 and they are never better. Not sure on how far of an overclock these will go but I always wanted DDR2 1100 and now I have
1100 plus in a AM2+ machine!

Cons: I wish I had 6 RAM slots on my mobo.

Other Thoughts: Don't go any lower then this speed and performance "should" be good enough. Wonderful RAM here.

5 out of 5 eggs2 gig & Vista 64

Pros: Vista 64 is running quicker and smoother than I thought it would with just two sticks.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Gonna get two more from the Egg... if not the G.Skill 2 x2 gig version.
