5 out of 5 eggsWow... Just wow...

Pros: Amazing...

Cons: None that I can think of other than its not DDR3, and the fact that you can get 16GB of DDR3 for just a little more.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this RAM in 2008, its still going strong, never a hiccup. Definitely a great buy.

5 out of 5 eggs5 years and still going strong!

Pros: Reliable - Dang, these sticks are resilient. I bought them nearly five years ago and they've never given me a hint of trouble. G.SKILL definitely built these to last.

Overclockable - With minimal tweaking, these will easily operate at DDR2 1066 speed with stock timings 5-5-5-15 stable.

Cons: It's Old - It's DDR2, so it's definitely out of date. DDR3 is faster and uses lower voltages.

It's a bit pricey - You can get DDR3 that is far superior for half the price these days.

Other Thoughts: If you're looking to put some more RAM in an older system that's still chugging along just fine, this stuff is absolutely for you. If your system's on its last legs, skip this and upgrade your rig - DDR3 is superior in every way and cheaper.

Mad props to G.SKILL for making a memory set that's still making my first gaming rig build work. I'll certainly be considering them for my next PC.

5 out of 5 eggstitle

Pros: I've had these sticks since 2007 running in the first custom PC I built. I still have them, and still use the computer, but have since upgraded other components. I suppose I should get DDR3, at some point, and upgrade from 4GB....but whatever.

Cons: None, really. They didn't OC, very well, but I never cared much about that. Just need a simple, cheap way to get somewhat fast 4GB sticks in my custom PC.

Other Thoughts: Cool color, can't find this color or style in DDR3. Love G.Skill.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat RAM

Pros: Great DDR2 RAM and high quality. Bought a pair for new built back in the days and they have been running great with no issues. Totally plug and play!

Cons: Still Pricey! Affordable back then but I don't know why these are still expensive compared to newer technology RAM for today's standard. I can buy DDR3 RAM with more capacity for a much cheaper price today.

Other Thoughts: Should had bought 8GB (4x2GB) sticks back then!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat RAM

Pros: I bought this RAM for my last rig, and always stuck to Crucial memory until then. G.Skill made me a fan; my PC has been running for over 3 years, a Q9300 overclocked from 2.5 to 3.0Ghz. The part taking most of the extra load has been the memory, and it has been doing an admirable job. I'm currently transitioning it to another build, but I'm sure it will continue to funtion perfectly for years to come.

Cons: No issues; the RAM was cheap back in the day, but not so much anymore. Still highly recommended if you need some good DDR2.

Other Thoughts: People need to realize that all companies will have defective products from time to time. I work with a lot more hardware than the average tech, so I see dozens of bad sticks of RAM each year. If you happen to be one of a minority of people who get one, don't 1 egg it; give the replacement a chance. If the replacement is DOA too, then is the time to 1 egg it.
