5 out of 5 eggsworks well

Pros: works very well and they seem to be very responsive. right now i'm playing Fallout 3, and i know its not the most resouce hungry out there but it runs very smooth with ultra 1080i settings. and the heat spreaders do look nice, though i dont know if they actually work all the much...

Cons: non really, i had to manually set the timing and voltage. it ran fine at 800 and stock voltage, but i remembered that i had to set the clock higher and forgot about the voltage, and it would crash ever so often. with the right voltage though, it very stable.

Other Thoughts: i actually have these slightly overclocked to 1066...when i was ordering i wasnt paying close enough attention and bought the wrong speed for my m/b. funny thing is the 1066 version of these were actually cheaper at the time :(

AMD 9950 Quad on a gigabyte ma790x ud4p m/b, these, visontek hd 3850

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome RAM

Pros: Bought this RAM a couple months ago to upgrade from a DDR2 800 2gb kit. The difference from 2 gigs to 4 gigs and a 200mhz boost is insane. All my games run smoother, programs open faster and overall using the computer is a more enjoyable experience. Highly Recommended!

Cons: Pricey for some.

Other Thoughts: I've heard this RAM overclocks great but I haven't had a chance to try it.

Pros: Runs flawlessly and fast, neweggs shipping, looks cool

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Computer can only take DDR2 800 and I don't want to be bothered to flash bios or OC the memory.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks perfectly

Pros: Great memory very solid. I have 8GB runnning with a Gigabyte X-48 board paired with the Q9550 that is overclocked to 3.6--memory stable and no issues with installation or getting it started. Had to change voltage on motherboard from 1.8 to 2.1 for it to run at rated speeds.

Cons: NONE

Other Thoughts: Heat sinks work fine, stable and no problems with the running 8gb on a Gigabyte X-48 board.

5 out of 5 eggsVery good ram

Pros: SUPER NICE HEAT SPREADERS, boots right up on my Rampage forumla, very fast and snappy.

Cons: won't overclock mutch at all these sticks do 1042 at 2.1v and no further, no matter what voltage or timing

Other Thoughts: even though they don't overclock very high they allow very high cpu overclocking, some ram gets ustable at stock speeds when the cpu is oced , these are rock solid.

5 out of 5 eggsLook no further

Pros: i have had nothing but problems with my Ballistix pc 8500 in my gigabyte DQ6-X38. i know a lot of the problem goes with the MB memory controller but i had numerous rma's with the ram due to errors.
i popped the GSKILL's in and adjusted the voltage to 2.08, manual 5-5-5-15 at 949 mhz. system booted just fine into vista. i have been messing with different settings and different slots for months trying to get this running with the ballistix. after about 2 min to put the new ram in, it works awesome, no errors in prime95 or OCCT for 24 hours. this ram runs very cool to the touch not like other ^ brands! cant say enough good things about this ram, wish i would not have wasted time and $$ on other brands

Cons: ummmmm the fact that i didnt buy this ram over the Cru#ial Ballistix's due to reputation!!

Other Thoughts: if your debating on getting GSKILL or another brand, dont do it! all of the experience in the world producing ram doesnt mean jack if they aren't able to make a stable product. I will definitely buy from GSKILL again.

gigabyte dq6-x38, Q6600 @ 3.2 ghz, GSkill 4gb pc 8000, evga 8800gts 512, xfi-extreme gamer
