Pros: Nice heat spreaders, attractive packaging. Can handle much higher voltage than it's rated for, and can handle the increased speed/timings to match. I read somewhere this RAM uses Micron chips...

Cons: Be careful what board you use it with. Cannot achieve advertised timings on an Intel DP45SG. Best I can pull off is 1333-8-8-8-18 @ 8GB. DP45SG does not appear to support XMP which is where this RAM stores its aggressive advertised settings. If I choose the default SPD, the timings set to 9-9-9-24.

Other Thoughts: G. Skill customer support has been helpful but they can only help me so far, because it seems to be partially the board's fault. G. Skill customer service has always been helpful and because of this I made my last three RAM purchases from them for over $500 worth of RAM. G. Skill also uses good chips despite their aggressive pricing.

Pros: good price for the stats. cooling fins are cool looking and seem to do the job

Cons: the voltage on theses sticks are sensitive if you do not set the voltage to 1.65v then you will have random crashes and lockups. vista OS makes this issue worse

Pros: Great RAM, worked right out of the box and I have had no problems yet. Games and programs run fast and smoothly.

Pros: does what memory is supposed to. works, for example, with asus' M4879T. and with amd's quad deneb phenom ii.

Cons: not the fastest or the biggest. but not the most expensive either.

Pros: Got a great score in Win 7 X64. Nice Design.

Cons: Had to RMA third day. WinHad to RMA to Newegg after dows keep giving a hardware error. So, I ran Memtest overnight which showed failures

Other Thoughts: Going to try another set. These I will test overnight as soon as I get them.

When you install the memory modules, make sure to configure the memory frequency, timings, and voltage in BIOS otherwise the computer will not operate the memory at it's full potential. It can also damage or shorten the lifespan of the memory, so we strongly recommend that you always check the memory settings in BIOS just to make sure.
