Other Thoughts: put the 4gb into the left side memory slot, when imac face down, right side if looking at screen. easy install.
replaced cover, reboot shows 6gb memory and istat nano app shows all 6gb memory useable! woot! Running Mavericks, on a 7yr old imac! cool! so far so good. Keep your HD clean and verify/repair regularily.

Other Thoughts: You must push hard. It is a clear improvement in speed

Other Thoughts: apparently you have to really push hard to get these memory seated but once it's seated it recognized all 6gb of my memory!

Pros: I got 2 of these for my T61 laptop to be used with Windows 7 x64 Ultimate. Officially T61 supports only 4GB of RAM but 8 works just fine. Why do I need 8? Right now I have SQL Server 2008 Dev. Ed 64 bit using 700MB, 3 instances of Visual Studio 2010 using 100-150 MB each, Firefiox 6 using 130MB, this and that and I am already at 48% Physical memory usage as shown by Task Manager. If I had 4GB I would be out of physical memory at this time and/or swapping.

Cons: Nothing to mention.

Other Thoughts: If you have 64 bit OS and need for more memory - get it, price is now reasonable.

Cons: Price (RAM has been high-priced for some time now)

Other Thoughts: Bought some of these for the Foxconn mini-book PCs. The BIOS reads the full 4GB and I have had no blue-screen/stability problems.
I have purchased several different types of RAM from G.Skill (through Newegg) and have never had any trouble with it.

Pros: Installation proceded flowlesly.HP dv 97oot booted right up.I wished I would have put 8Megs instead of 6 Megs.prodcut was G Skill 4GB 200-pin DDR-2 SO-DIMM 667

Cons: None with prodduct except my luck in buying Ram has been always at the wrong time.Egg people have graciously given me a gift card on those occassions that the price dropped within 30 days.Is those that were outside the 30 to 45 days that I dont like.No adjustments for those.I will swallow the poison pill this time but potetial buyers should be aware that we live at the wim of manufacturers and Egg people.

Other Thoughts: Wait to buy memory till holidays or till next recession

Pros: The memory is recognized on my dual-booting 17" 2.4GHz (Santa Rosa) MacBook Pro by both the Mac OS and Windows 7 OS. Using the 4 GB from G.SKILL and 2 GB from OCZ.

Cons: I initially had them reversed, but nothing worked. There have been no problems after switching initial slot placement. For me, the 4GB needs to be on the top/back and the OCZ 2 GB is on the bottom/front.

Pros: Used this stick in a Dell Inspiron 1525. Laptop is super-fast now.

Cons: None so far!
