Experience blinding speed in your programs and video games with blinding fast DDR2 800 SDRAM. High-density G.Skill PI memory is exactly what you should give your system for the boost it needs to help reduce loading times and get you back into the fight faster. You’ll also enjoy reduced data bottlenecks by taking advantage of dual channel technology on compatible motherboards.
Heat management is always important for any PC builder and enthusiast. G.Skill understands this concern, which is why the PI DIMM comes with a stylish heatspreader, which dissipates heat by exposing it to cool air over a greater surface area. The long heat fins ensure proper airflow and will look great in any case for your next LAN party. Upgrade your PC at an affordable price with G.Skill PI F2-6400CL4D-4GBPI-B DDR2 memory today!
Pros: Heat spreaders are actually functional! I just switched from some G.Skill with standard heat spreaders and I can definitely notice a difference in the temperature of the dimms (I have a tech bench so I can easily take temps when under load) Will take 2.24v with no problems (haven't gone any higher yet).
Cons: G.Skill ram tends to overclock a little, but not a lot. (Aside from the "HZ" series I believe). This DDR2 800 will run at 1000Mhz with 2.24v and 6-6-6-18. It will be slightly more stable at 7-7-7-21 but will still not pass Intel Burn Test or OCCT (RAM test). No problem gaming @ 1000mhz though.
Other Thoughts: The general idea with G.Skill is to buy the speed you need. This ram will overclock slightly and can run all day long at 950mhz with 5-5-5-15 on 2.0v but further than that and you start to hit the wall for this ram. 4 eggs for good ram and another egg because the heat spreaders actually work well.

Great RAM

Pros: Low Voltage, Low latency, great overclocker, extremely low chance of getting a bad pair... and can't beat the price... there's a reason this ram went to over 100 reviews in two months time, it's the best out there!
Cons: Thought I had a bad pair, ran memtest 86+ and passed, but ran memtest from hcidesign and failed... apparently my sticks can't run any lower than 1.904v, but that doesn't really matter because my maximus formula x38 has a nasty overvoltage of .088 volts... so 1.888 volts is the minimum
Other Thoughts: i really urge all computer users to test their mem with hcidesign's memtest, its free and effective... its a bit slow, but i think its more reliable than memtest 86+, because where mestest 86+ passed, hcidesign's failed, and showed me i'm not stable... and stability is key.. hci design also runs on windows with both sticks in...im now running on 667mhz at 3-3-3-9 @ 1.9v no prob.

Pros: Worked at advertised timings right out of the box, no tinkering or tampering with anything. nice heat spreaders, they are hollow for those of you wondering so they dissipate heat on the inside of the fins as well.
Runs only at 1.875 volts
Cons: Only dual channel but meh, AMD does not have tri-channel memory controller.
Other Thoughts: This replaced 2 GB of crucial tracer Bastillix ram. The difference between 2gb and 4gb of ram even at the same speed is a night and day difference. My boot times cut down about 4 seconds.
Paired with an asus M3n-ht & athlon 6400+ x2 the mem score jumped from 5.5 to 7.1

Pros: Works great, Fast, stable, etc...
Set to 5-5-5-15, 2.0v @ 900mhz easy, cool, and stable.
No errors :]
Cons: Paid $54.99 on 5/6/2009 for the PI black's with Solid black heat spreaders. I don't know what the difference is between these new red-ish looking modules and my older PI blacks. I DO know the price is A LOT higher now than when I purchased my pair back on 5/6/09.
I would like to purchase another pair, but the price increased from $54.99 to $99.00, I do not understand? DDR3 is out and owning the market, yet the price of these old DDR2 modules keeps increasing...
Newegg live chat support could not answer my question about the price increase since 5/6/09, I'm satisfied tho, Ram works great.
Other Thoughts: Running a pair of these sticks on my EP45-UD3P rev1.6 without any issues.
-Vista Ultimate 32bit -GA-EP45-UD3P rev1.6 -E8400 @ 4.10ghz 1.248v -2 x HIS Radeon 4670 512mb xfire -And 2 of these modules
All runs smooth, no issues

Cons: not DDR3?
Other Thoughts: allows OCing Q9550 to 3.4ghz 24/29c idle/load on zalman 9500A weee
