5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: Low cost, reliable, and sturdy. Does as claimed without any issues.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: G Skill seems to suffer from only one problem. Not being a named brand. I do not know of any stores that carry them, so online purchase seems to be the only route. My only concern about using these sticks for the future is I simply hope they do not go out of buisness and it could be difficult to replace. Other than that, I can affirm their quality. They do as they claim too and at their price that is one hell of a deal. I am just now buying a second set of the same to max out (six sticks for 2 gb each) to speed up my computer to handle some of the more demanding games coming out. Anyone who is unsure of this brand or wary of a purchase, I can at least say, they have been good to me and have a lifetime warrenty. Leaving little to no risk.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat value

Pros: Works flawlessly, bought these back in 2010 and they have held up very well. Bought 3 more to double my RAM with my upgrade and at this price it's hard to beat them. With X.M.P. enabled I'm getting a 7.9 in the windows exp index @ 1600mhz.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This is my first review and should have done one when I first bought these in 2010. They are solid and deserve praise.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat set of RAM, with good overclocking too

Pros: This kit of memory is great! I bought my kit in 2010, and it's still running strong! For those saying it cannot be overclocked, I'm not sure what you're doing wrong, but it OC's great for me. I bumped up the voltage to 1.66v, (my system doesn't have 1.65v option), left timings on auto (9-9-9-24, the default was chosen by my mobo), and have overclocked my i7-920 from 2.6ghz (stock) to 4.0ghz (I also increased other voltages, such as vcore and qpi to get here, of course) with this memory. It performs flawlessly, with no blue screens. The memory speed is currently at 1700 mhz, but I have had it as high as 1800 mhz, depending on the current OC.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Great memory kit, reliable, moderate overclocking ability, great support from G.Skill. Highly recommend, if the price is still right.

5 out of 5 eggsExactly as Expected

Pros: Cheap and performs as expected.
Price has come down a lot.

Cons: They used to be pretty expensive.

Other Thoughts: I bought this same set back in 2009 for $160. They've really come down in price, but they were worth it. I started reaching the limits of my 6gb set and decided to get another and make that 12gb.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Ram

Pros: Installed this initially in my new gaming machine in 2010, absolutely no issues at all running in XMP Profile 1600MHz. Purchased another set to compliment and go up to 12GB RAM. The New set is installed and the machine detects 12GB @ 1600Mhz flawlessly. This is on an Asus sabertooth x58 board.

Cons: None! highly recommended RAM.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Sticks

Pros: G Skill has never let me down. I've had these sticks for over 2 years without issue.

Cons: The price now ($44) for 6gb is a little outdated. You can get 8gb for $50 atm.

5 out of 5 eggsLiked it so much I bought it again

Pros: I bought this ram for the first time in 2010 when I did my original build. Then I decided I'd like to upgrade to 12 gigs so I purchased a 2nd set of ram. It works flawlessly and look forward to many more years!

Cons: no issues for me.

5 out of 5 eggsTrue value

Pros: Great and reliable RAM for the price.

Cons: nuttin'

Other Thoughts: I purchased a set of these a few years ago and they have worked great. I purchased another set last month (Nov. 2012) upgrading my PC from six GB to twelve GB on an EVGA 58X board.

I was pleased to find that the price had dropped considerably to only $39.99. It's not easy to find what I think of as a true bargain these days but this is one of them. Kudo's G. Skill and Newegg.

Works great with i7-964 (extreme) at full speed on Linux. We work them hard and this holds up well.
