Pros: Lovely packaging

Cons: * Inserted these 3 sticks into my ASUS Rampage II GENE motherboard. Was greeted to a smoldering stink and the motherboard would not post. After removing the new ram the motherboard will no longer post. Again, these new sticks of ram were placed into a completely 100% functional system and now it is non-functional.

Other Thoughts: Very disappointing and frustrating

When installing RAM, always make sure to be safely grounded to prevent the buildup of static electricity, which can result in electrostatic discharge that can cause hardware damage. Also, double check the RAM is firmly inserted in the memory slots. If not, the motherboard and/or memory module may be damaged. Pros: Working fine on an EVGA x58 SLI 132-bl-e758 along with 3x 2gb OCZ gold 1600Mhz for a total of 12gb RAM. Tripple-channeling like a champ.

Cons: Not gold like the OCZ's. Not ripjaws.

Other Thoughts: Always buy G.Skill RAM. Lifetime warranty is unbeatable. Quality unmatched.

Pros: Great price on this G.Skill ram, Shipping was fast and painless , it even came a day early , Red heat spreaders look great as I was doing a black and red theme..
I will for sure shop G,Skill in the future .. Thank you G,Skill for keeping your prices competitive and offering quality products,

Cons: The only one I have seen so far is that this ram was seen as 1333 on a fresh boot system.. I am not 100% sure if it is the ram or motherboard. either way it was an easy fix in the bios,
this is on the X79 gigabyte board

Other Thoughts: I have shopped at NEWEGG for many years and they have never let me down .. Thank you newegg for years of great service and prices ....

Pros: Price, name brand, and quality all factored into this one. Flawless.

Pros: Easy to install...as all memory is. Good price.

Cons: A stick of this memory dropped dead on me within a year.

Other Thoughts: I'll pay the extra price for a name brand next time.

Pros: Fast, Stably, decent price, reliable. I've had these in my current machine since early 2011 and haven't had any issues. I only went with 6 gigs originally and with some of the things I am now doing it wasn't enough, so I came back and just bought another set.

GSkill may not be a "brand name" but I've used them in every system I have built for the last 8 years (personally and professionally). Never any problems. And for the price.... can't go wrong

Cons: Absolutely none

Pros: Reliable, Fast, Cool

Other Thoughts: I wish triple kits were more popular, so this would go on sale and I could buy a 2nd set. 3 years and still no issues with this RAM, which is more than I can say for other sticks I've seen and dealt with personally.

Pros: Advertised as Intel chip set compatible and worked as stated.

Cons: New egg shipps via DHL and it takes a week to get them.

Other Thoughts: If new egg would stop using DHL so you can get the memory in a timely manner these are the say to go.

Pros: It is 2 years old and it works great.
It was affordable.

Cons: none

Pros: Low cost, reliable, and sturdy. Does as claimed without any issues.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: G Skill seems to suffer from only one problem. Not being a named brand. I do not know of any stores that carry them, so online purchase seems to be the only route. My only concern about using these sticks for the future is I simply hope they do not go out of buisness and it could be difficult to replace. Other than that, I can affirm their quality. They do as they claim too and at their price that is one hell of a deal. I am just now buying a second set of the same to max out (six sticks for 2 gb each) to speed up my computer to handle some of the more demanding games coming out. Anyone who is unsure of this brand or wary of a purchase, I can at least say, they have been good to me and have a lifetime warrenty. Leaving little to no risk.
