Sweet Ram
- Pros: I've overclocked my cpu hard with this ram and it overclocks itself quite well. Extra fan piece is a bonus and looks good in my case.
- Cons: none
so far so good!
- Pros: booted right up at stock settings 2000mhz(2:10) on my evga x58 classified with 965EE!no issues so far, havent tried to oc or tweak yet so we will see huh!
- Cons: wish gskill would give a red led fan color option to match the rest of my case, not everyone wants blue leds! YES IM TALKING TO ALL MFG OF RAM COOLERS!WAKE UP WE WANT COLOR VARIETY!AND ITS A SIMPLE THING TOO DO!SO DO IT!
- Other Thoughts: holiey bejesus!
Seems to Work
- Pros: Priced right and somewhat overkill spec.s for the core i7 920. Probably good for the higher end i7's as well. I've had good luck with Gskill in the past when overclocking.
- Cons: 1.65 V is a bit on the high end for the i7. My motherboard has auto set DRAM to run at 1.57V, hence it is likely my RAM is underperforming a bit.
- Other Thoughts: So far no problem at 1600 MHz clock. I suspect that some folks who couldn't reach 2000 Mhz were under-volting this RAM.
