Great choice for your new P55 setup.
- Pros: Great Value, overclocks well and they look awesome. :) No reliability problems to speak of.
Values according to CPU-Z 1.52.2:
518mhz 7-7-7-19 @ 1.5v
592mhz 8-8-8-22 @ 1.5v
666mhz 9-9-9-24 @ 1.5v
1000mhz 9-9-9-25 @ 1.65v
- Cons: Higher latency than most, but with the Memory controller being on the CPU's die, memory latency is hugely reduced by the new architecture. I understand G.Skill loosens the timings for reliabilities sake.
- Other Thoughts: I have only owned this memory for less than a week. So hopefully I haven't missed anything.
From what I have experienced thus far, these sticks should get your Core-I5 to 4ghz+. Make sure you purchase the correct motherboard. I would stick with the top of the line from Gigabyte, Asus, EVGA, MSI or Intel.
