4 out of 5 eggsGreat for Budget Builds!

Pros: Both DIMM sticks have performed excellent thus far and Im running OCed.

They are working very well with my A10-5800K APU graphics.

Cons: None so far as I can tell.

4 out of 5 eggsStandard DDR module

Pros: works fine as expected.
The reason chose this product is for compatibility of my DDR previously occupied in my PC. I added two more module for increasing main memory from 4G to 8GB.

Cons: Price is somewhat expensive compared to 8G module - almost same price. I know this DDR chip already had bit crossed to bigger size chip but from the consumer point of view, it is expensive.

Other Thoughts: Spending 10~20% more cost would have same memory size of 8GB with throwing out old 2x2G modules. But market already started to move DDR4 and this DDR3 module is less likely to be usable on my next PC upgrade.

Dear Customer

Thank you for your G.Skill purchase and review. Glad to hear the memory kit is working well in your system with G.Skill RAM. This is a high performance memory kit that should work well in any build. With 8GB of DDR3-1600 CL7, your computer should be nice and fast, free of any lag or delays. The current DDR3 standard is DDR3-1600 CL11, so 4 timings lower is a significant performance gain. For any further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us directly.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent RAM

Pros: Best timings you will see for this clock speed of RAM.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I had to adjust the settings to get the advertised timings in BIOS. On an AMD Asus board, I had to go to the AI tweaker in the advanced menu. From here, you need to select Ai Overclock Timer and change it to D. O. C. P., then select the pre-made RAM profile that lists the proper advertised timings.

It is my understanding that on Intel boards, you go through the same process but select XMP instead of D. O. C. P. I have never owned anything Intel personally.

5 out of 5 eggsA good speed increase from 1333.

Pros: I truly enjoy the speed increase from the old 1333 RAM (also G.Skill). The price is so low for the great product. I recommend this RAM to anyone doing a mid level PC build.

Cons: I wished I had bought 8GB, but I can still buy 4 more GB and make a total of 8.

Other Thoughts: Get this RAM for mid level rigs.

4 out of 5 eggsThe most rock solid kit I've ever owned.

Pros: Out of all of this ddr3 kits I've owned these are hands down the best. Many others have come and gone, and I just can't let these go. In fact I'm looking at them right now. They are no longer in service because I needed more capacity, but these babies are jewels.

They Overclocked to 2200 MHz at cas latency 7, scoring me the highest benchmark for ram in the history of my computer life. Without exotic cooling.

Cons: 2gb dimms

Dear Customer

Thank you for your G.Skill purchase and review. Glad to hear this is the most solid memory kit you have ever owned. DDR3-1600 CL7 is a very good spec, and as you know, all G.Skill memory kits are great for overclocking. If you need more capacity, currently there are 4GB and 8GB DIMMs available with very similar specifications. Check to see what your computer can support. Should you need any furthera assistance or have any questions, please feel free to let us know.

5 out of 5 eggsNo CL-7 with my 955

Pros: They work, price wasn't bad, look good, 1600mhz, good timings.

Cons: Not the rams fault but my processor just can't handle the higher speeds and low latency. See, "other thoughts".

Other Thoughts: I was using mushk*n 1333mhz 7-7-7-20 but thought I would get a little more performance with something that has a higher speed and similar timings to the mushk*n so I bought these. Wasn't impressed at first because I had to run at 8-8-7-24 but after two days of adjusting and testing I think I found the sweet spot. If anyone else has trouble getting 1600mhz and CL7 you might want to give these settings a whirl. Right now I have the voltage set to 1.67 and I might be able to lower it and still be stable. TCL-8, TRCD-8, TRP-7, TRAS-22, TRFC-110ns, TWR-12, TWTR-6, TRRD-5, TRTP-6, TRC-34, and 1T command rate or cycle time or whatever your mobo has it named. Not to mention they are stable in pr*m*95. My windows experience went from 7.6 to 7.7 it's a small jump but the new sticks were cheaper than my old 1333mhz sticks which are going into my sons rig along with other parts to upgrade from old DDR2 800mhz. So with a little effort and/or knowhow you can get great performance from these memory modules on systems that have older components. So basically for the price you aren't going to get anything better with these specs.

4 out of 5 eggsAs Expected

Pros: Does exactly what its supposed to... functions in my media server system superbly. No errors, and I have found the G.Skill seems to be coming up in the world of RAM nicely, a good alternative to Kingston/Crucial/Corsair

Cons: I only bought 4GB... should got 8

Other Thoughts: Keep an eye on these guys they are doing some good things with RAM... I am definitely sticking with them for the foreseeable future
