5 out of 5 eggsquestion about memory prob

Pros: been running flawlessly since install 3 years ago, but last night screen locked up and i got a continuous tone.
upon reboot, all i got was short beeps [about 15 of them] then silence then shorts beeps [15 again] then shutdown and auto restart with same issue.
read that could be memory issue so i removed ddr3 stick 2 and it booted as normal.
reinstalled the stick and it failed again, so i removed stick 1, installed stick 2 in first slot and that booted fine, then installed stick 1 in slot two and it booted fine and shows all 8 gigs memory as normal.
so, do i have a bad stick or?
hate to buy new mem for this 3 year old box, would rather wait till i can build a new one, sigh........

Cons: failed after 3 years, not a bad con i dont think, but its higher now than what i paid 3 years ago

Other Thoughts: if its warrantable, please tell me how to do so, and thanks

5 out of 5 eggsIt's RAM!

Pros: Good sticks of RAM.

Cons: I'm upset it did not come with $1 million dollars. I could use $1 million dollars.

Other Thoughts: Cheap decent speed RAM. Make sure the speed works with your Motherboard, also make sure your OS can support said speed and space.
