5 out of 5 eggsLooks and works great!

Pros: Works great and looks awesome. Nice and fast as well.

Cons: The fins almost made my CPU heat sink not fit in my case, but not an issue with this product specifically. Keep in mind of height requirements.

Other Thoughts: I am thinking of upgrading to 16 GB

1 out of 5 eggsdisappointing

Pros: none

Cons: after a mix up with dhl sending it to the wrong state for some reason, i got the ram today.
swapped out my old ram for this ram. no display. plug in my old ram to make sure i didnt mess up my vid card or something while unplugging the ram the first time and the old set up works fine. try the other 2 ram slots and swapping between slots to see if the dual chan needed to be in certain slots. no luck what so ever.

Other Thoughts: doa out of the box

5 out of 5 eggsDecent preformance RAM

Pros: It's RAM. 3/3 sets with no problems up to 3 years. Heat spreaders. Good reasonably tight timings.

Cons: Do the ridges actually do anything but stick up?

Other Thoughts: Performance RAM, but at value RAM prices. I've not tried overclocking it. I've RMA'ed a different set and it was pretty painless.

5 out of 5 eggsSame Problem

Pros: None for me

Cons: The first 2x4gb I bought had one bad stick and the PC would not boot. With the replacement, would not boot, tried each individually would not boot.

Other Thoughts: The MB is a z97 ASRock Fatality board. It is working fine with 4 2gb Gskill Ripjaw 1066 sticks. Perhaps I have received ram from a bad batch of ram. I will return this ram and if possible I will switch to another mfg.

Updated 30 Jan 2016:
Shame on me, I made the fatal error of not taking pictures when I returned the ram. I took pictures for the second RMA and Newegg shipped new ram which worked perfectly. My suspicion is Newegg made the mistake and returned the defective ram. I have had great luck with Gskill and will continue to use their ram.

Come on Newegg you have been dropping the ball lately.

5 out of 5 eggs5 years old! and still kicking!

Pros: Was browsing my order history and came to the realization that the ram in my computer is 5 years old. This stuff is still running perfectly fine. I have been running my machine with a slight FSB overclock to generate 1648mhz on the ram. These sit comfortably in an equally antiquated (haha) GA-990FXA-UD3 motherboard.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Pairs well with an AMD FX-8320 and GA-990FXA-UD3 motherboard in my experience.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat performance

Pros: Works instantly with my two other G Skill ripjaws memory. It's a very good deal for 8GB of memory. I've paid almost twice the amount for only 4GB few years ago.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: G Skill products are usually very reliable. They continue to offer great products at very reasonable prices.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Product!

Pros: Read lots of reviews on several different types of memory. This one had a lot of recommendations and I got it on sale for a great price. It's hooked into a MSI H97 motherboard with an i3 Core processor, everything runs really fast and stable for our home/gaming desktop.

Cons: None, great product!

Other Thoughts: Only other thought is that I wish I went ahead and bought one more set.
