5 out of 5 eggsvery good

Pros: Not having any probs with them as i did with Geil 1066 ddr3 ram installed on a amd system,I like the gray color they are blends in nice with my mobo.

Cons: none, funny thing is that these are made for intel systems

Other Thoughts: Even these are made for intel they will work for amd systems just make sure you check the QVL list for the motherboard to make sure these will work with the mobo you are using that seems to be a problem with people these days not making sure their ram works with their mobo's anyways g.skill got a new customer. Here is my system specs
Asrock am3 870 extreme3
amd pII 3.1 dual core with occ on now its a x4 3.2ghz
xfx5770

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Memory

Pros: Worked great out of the box. Not OC'ing. Great system performance and stability in windows 7 64bit. Even though they were designed for Intel processors, they work great with my AMD board/cpu.

Cons: none.

3 out of 5 eggsok

Pros: low voltage

Cons: with stock setting it dont go past 800 mhz?

Manufacturer Response:

.
Dear Customer

The "real" frequency for this memory package is 800MHz, the "effective" frequency is DDR3-1600. DDR is double data rate, which is the reason for 800MHz x 2 = DDR3-1600. So if your system is showing 800MHz, then it is correct. But if it is showing DDR3-800, then it is not correct. If you download the program CPU-Z, under the memory tab it should show DRAM Frequency 800MHz, 9-9-9-24. If so, your system is running just fine.

Thank you

4 out of 5 eggsCL8 stable

Pros: I set my timings to 8-8-8-24 and runs stable. The voltage is lower than other brand, which is very eco-friendly. Runs quietly and cool.

Cons: The stated voltage is 1.35v, but it's a little bit unstable, but running at 1.37v is fine. OC on this set doesn't work quite well; 1800 is about max for me.

Other Thoughts: Looks good..........

Manufacturer Response:

.
Dear Customer

Thank you for your G.Skill purchase and review. Glad to hear the memory is working fine in your system. If you are operating them with CL8 timings, then it may require slightly more voltage which is why you need to have them set to 1.37V. Regarding overclocking, it will simply depend on what timings are used and what voltage. Many people have been able to overclock these beyond DDR3-2000.

Thank you
