Pros: I normally use Kingston memory but when Newegg doesn't have what I need in stock I get G.Skill. I had no problems with the memory.

Cons: None

Pros: Used to work well

Cons: Got a bad lot - 13 of 18 sticks ordered were bad!

Other Thoughts: We've ordered dozens of these kits over the past few months and they worked well. This last lot that we ordered for 9 machines drove us nuts. In 17 years of doing IT, I have NEVER seen bad RAM randomly shut off a machine! Bad RAM can prevent boot, can BSOD (and reboot), can corrupt HD data and so on. This batch just shut off the machine as if it lost power. Problem did not come up on our hour-long burn in and we found it only after installing 9 of these machines for a new client. Problem would sometimes take hours to materialize,making troubleshoting a long process and because there were none of the classic BSOD's and mini-dumps, we focused on the power supplies, drivers, motherboards and so on. Likely got 30+ man-hours into troubleshooting before by process of ellimination we figured out that it was the RAM. Further focused testing showed that 13 of the 18 sticks that we recived had these problems and when we found the bad stick and replaced it with a good one (identical maker/model/type), the problem went away like turning off the water.

Pros: no problems at all. Running a core i3 2100 in an htpc for over a year.

Pros: Great RAM, great price. The price/quality is great G.Skill RAM I believe is un-matched. I believe Mushkin and GEIL come close, but I have had a perfect track record with G.Skill RAM. I have never had a bad stick and never had one fail on me.

Other Thoughts: There have been a few brands to come into competition in the price/quality area as of late including G. Skill, Mushkin and GEIL. A few other old-timers have created new lines of performance RAM to compete in this area such as Crucial Ballistix, Kingston HyperX, Corsair Vengance and Patriot Viper.

Pros: Was a good bit cheaper than the top rated DDR3 G.Skill RAM at the time of purchase. Does its job just fine.

Cons: Is no longer "a good bit cheaper than the top rated DDR3 G.Skill RAM".

Pros: Works great did not have a problem with them at all.

Cons: N/A

Pros: Easy to install.
Fast.
Cheap.

Cons: I have not experienced any issues with this product.

Other Thoughts: Picture shows these as green, but they are actually black.

Pros: This ddr3 memory only last for six(6) months, That's why I gave it two egg. Anyway I already ordered a pair of Corsair vengeance.

Cons: This ddr3 memory died arter 6 months of use. Also this was the first time I bought this brand ( G.SKILL ). I always buy Corsair brand and never have a problem with that brand berore. So I guess that's what happen when trying to save a little money. So it is hard for me to recommend it.

Other Thoughts: If one buy cheap products, in the long run will cost an arm and a leg.
Also the appearance of this pair of thick G.SKILL is kind of simple, it looks like there's no protection from heat. I guess this type of memories are good for low power desktop. Although some people have never had a problem with this brand. So I leave up to the buyer... good luck

Unfortunately, due to the nature of DRAM, random defects can happen. At any time a module is not working to specification, we can have it replaced immediately. This is a low voltage memory kit, so it will not produce much heat at all. For that reason, a heat spreader is not necessary. Pros: Bought this exact RAM a long time ago, finally decided that PC could use 8GB instead of 4GB total.

Installation of the new second set was just as easy as the first.

Everything works great. This RAM has been perfect on both installations on a z68 platform.

Cons: Actually more of a pro in my opinion, but both times I have gotten this RAM it has been black instead of green like in the picture. I personally prefer the black, but I list it as a con since that is not how it appears in the provided picture.

Other Thoughts: 2 separate purchases of this exact RAM about a year apart have been perfect, I think it is safe to assume this is a quality product.

I have never had a single issue with G Skill RAM, their products always work flawlessly for me (even a low voltage kit on a z68 had no issues for me). They have become my preferred vendor for RAM by a fairly large margin.

On a side note, I would recommend spending a bit more and getting a 8GB (2x4GB) set for any new build, its not much more money and is very worth it in many cases. But if you just need a 4GB set, I do highly recommend this product.

Pros: Works as it should. Easy install.

Cons: None unless the price drops in half in the next two weeks!!!

Other Thoughts: Bought this for a new computer build, everything went as expected. Both sticks show up being recognized, as someone else mentioned, mine were black as well. Can't imagine that even mattering as who sees the ram sticks on a day to day basis anyway??????????
