5 out of 5 eggsExcellent RAM

Pros: It's been very dependable, despite changing motherboards a couple of times.

Cons: Price.

Other Thoughts: It's hard to believe that it was 4 years ago that I bought this RAM. It's been great. When the price goes back down to it's 2011 level, I'll buy more.

5 out of 5 eggsvery good - "double sided"

Pros: Some owners of older DDR3 motherboards are having difficulty locating compatible RAM. My understanding is that these older motherboards require "double-sided" modules whereas most newer modules are "single sided." This RAM will work in the older motherboards that need "double-sided" RAM. The RAM has been stable, so far.

Cons: None - so far!

Other Thoughts: I have confirmed that this RAM works in the Asus P5G41T-M LX Plus motherboard.

5 out of 5 eggs3 years and no problems

Pros: - Working flawlessly for 3+ years

Cons: - None

Other Thoughts: I originally purchased this memory for a work computer. Naturally after buying my own stuff, the company furnished me with a better laptop so I didn't need the one I just built. Took that machine and it's now my main HTPC. It has been powered on for 3+ years (with the exception of maintenance/power outages/etc.) and haven't had an issue.

5 out of 5 eggsRock solid for over 3 years!

Pros: I also used to stick with Kingston memory due to a long track record of quality, reliability, and cost. I gave this brand a shot in 2011 and I have not had one issue with it.

Cons: None in over 3 years.

5 out of 5 eggsI've up'd my ram,...Now up your's!

Pros: G.Skill brand is solid
Good warranty
Good speeds
Works as advertised with ASUS board

Cons: No heat spreader, but thats only cosmetic.

Price has gone up recently, could be cheaper (remember two years ago when 8GB of ram was $40)

DDR 1600 would be nice at this price point.

Other Thoughts: I use to only buy Kingston, Samsung and Corsair memory. A few years back I thought I would try G.Skill because their speeds and prices were enticing. Good thing I did, because I have only had good experiences with them.

I have built 3 different computers since and used G.Skill for all of them. They have been rock solid for each build. That's not to say the other brands are bad, far from it. But the price and speeds of most G.Skill sticks are at the same level the more expensive ones are. So, if you have to buy your name brand because its on your "certified vendor list", go ahead, but you'll be missing out on some amazing products for cheaper. Also make sure you look at the warranties provided, G.Skills is fantastic.

If your in the market for some speedy memory and don't want to drop a ton of money, G.Skill has some great options.
