5 out of 5 eggsRAM Chips

Pros: Works great. Easy to install. Great price.

Cons: None I can think of.

Other Thoughts: I bought this memory to increase my total ram to 16GB. All my apps can now run at the same time while gaming. I haven't run into any problems.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat little 1600MHz kit, not get for OCing

Pros: Epic looking heatsinks. Though the RAM does not usually overheat (even when mildly OC'ed), they are still visually appealing. No problems with installation. Work well at stock speeds.

Cons: Not great for OC'ing. They are power hungry at higher speeds. Had to raise the voltage higher than 1.65V in order to get them over 1800MHz with any decent timings. Heatspreaders are a bit tall if you have a large CPU cooler (such as Hyper 212) for slot 1. Had to put kit in slots 2 and 4 instead of 1 and 3. If you have a large CPU cooler and you want to use four slots, then you would have to remove the heatspreader for the module in slot 1.

Other Thoughts: Currently running at 1904MHz with CAS 9 with a hefty power increase. If you are not planning on OCing, this is a great little kit for the price and they look fantastic.

5 out of 5 eggsI like red

Pros: Recognized immediately by my AS Rock MB. Required an OC setting in the bios but that is just peculiar to this MB. Works fine in conjunction with my AMD 6300 processor which runs with a larger than stock cooler. Pretty red heat sinks make me want to leave the side panel off my case so I can look at them.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This is for my guest room machine.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid RAM

Pros: Still available for purchase. No problems, no DOA sticks, no BIOS problems.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Purchased these as a match to my existing 8gigs. I have not overclocked this RAM, why should I? It works just fine. Running 7.8WEI. AMD FX-8350 is the weak spot at 4300mhz.

1 out of 5 eggsIncompatable

Pros: Heatsink, great reviews

Cons: Incompatable

Other Thoughts: I bought this 1600 RAM and was unable to get my computer to boot past the BIOS into the OS. RAM worked fine in my neighbor's computer, and his DDR3 4GBx2 (8GB) 1600MHz RAM worked perfectly in mine. Thinking it was the frequency, I bought the same model, but in 1333...unusable too. I checked all the timings, voltage, and re-checked my motherboard compatibility. I also used the XMP profile that came with my motherboard to no avail.

Dear Customer

We will be glad to help with any incompatibility issues. Please contact us directly with hardware specifications and we can suggest a memory kit to upgrade your computer to 8GB. Some motherboards, especially older DDR3 boards, may have issues with newer model RAM, so a specific type may be necessary. Once you reach us, we will make sure your computer is running fast and smooth with G.Skill RAM.

3 out of 5 eggsProblems

Pros: Affordable
Good looking
fast

Cons: The main reason i decided to buy new ram was because I finish completely upgrading my computer with a new graphics card and all I really needed was more ram sense I only had 4GB.

One con that I felt was that It was not compatible with the 4GB I already had but that mainly my fault for not researching it before buying it. But 8GB is more than enough
which is no biggie

The main problem I have with the ram I purchase was that It really messed up my computer. Before installing these two new ram stick my computer would never crash. From the first day I installed the ram stick I been receiving a blue screen saying
"Hardware Malfunction please remove any new installed software Contact your vendor"

It must be the ram when I return to my old ram (4GB) it works just fine it's just not enough to really play anything.
I have had it for about three months now and have been dealing with this problem everyday.
In reality it was my fault for not returning them when the window was open, Most people told me they sent me a bad stick even though it shows up as 8GB on the task manager it does not act like whenever it overfills over the first 4gb it just crashes and i mean this is every time i try to start up a game such as DAYZ ARMA or WARTHUNDER

I would suggest anybody to buy this Ram but make sure both of them 100% functioning as soon as you install them if not return asap and retry.

Dear Customer

Glad to hear you like the appearance of the RAM. We can definitely help with the issue you are having. If your computer supports DDR3-1600 and 4GB modules, we will make sure everything runs smoothly at full speed. The first step is to test each module individually to see if one performs differently. This can help determine whether it is a bad stick causing probolems. If both modules perform the same, the problem may lie elsewhere. With one module acting up, you can send them in for new replacements. All G.Skill memory kits are backed by a manufacturer lifetime warranty, so you never need to worry about defects. Since this memory kit is above standard, make sure to configure settings in BIOS/EFI. Without the proper set up, it may seem like there is a problem with RAM. Should you need assistance with this, please feel free to let us know. Any time you have a question or problem with the computer, contact us directly and we can help. It can save you a lot of time and headaches.
